Author has written 26 stories for Avatar: Last Airbender, Yu-Gi-Oh, Dungeons and Dragons, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, Tsubasa Chronicle, Devil May Cry, Hetalia - Axis Powers, Deadman Wonderland/デッドマン・ワンダーランド, Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, and Fullmetal Alchemist. The best of us start in the dirt as a seed, living in that dirt until we can soak up the knowledge, experience, and nurturing we need to sprout and grow to become better as writers, as readers, and as people. I have now been writing fanfiction for several years. I don't update as often as I would like to nowadays, and I almost never finish any of my big projects. But my goal is to finish the ones I have really put a lot of effort into. I write a variety of fanfictions. Several of them include romance, which may be anything from a minor subplot or even a running gag to a central theme or centerpiece. Most of the time I like to write stories about adventure, mystery, fantasy, and science fiction. I also started writing Reader Inserts, but those aren't allowed on Fanfiction.net so I publish them on my Deviantart account, LittleBlackDragon. Check them out if you're interested! Currently, the Projects that I WANT to finish are: I Should Have Stayed In Bed: My Assassin's Creed II fanfiction. Pretty popular despite that familiar set-up of a girl getting lost in another world or time period... I tried this once with an Avatar: The Last Airbender fanfiction many years ago when I first came here...and I have to say...things went very very poorly. But, I thought I would take another shot at the concept now that my skills have improved and I am an older and (hopefully) more mature person. (Currently second highest number of subscribers!!!) Yu-gi-oh! 5D's: Legacy of the Star Princess - My longest fanfiction ever... and probably the most popular. (Most reviews, subscriptions, traffic, favorites...) I was originally planning a sequel... but in all honesty it's gotten so long that I think it will be good to end it once I get past the end of the final battle. I am proud that I put so much into it and for all the helpful advice that kept the story going, including some collaboration with Coke head, a fellow writer who writes amazing fanfiction, does even more amazing art. Yuki Shiro and the Five Dragons - Probably won't work on again until Star Princess is complete. So until then, the fanfiction is currently on an extended Hiatus. Might be as long as Star Princess if I get back to it (I sure hope not, though!). ...Other than that...most of my fanfictions have been disbanned or dropped for an extended period. Any new stories probably won't be updated unless I feel like it or the readers won't stop hammering me with requests to continue. Which brings me to another point... Saying "Please Update" in a review doesn't make me update any faster. It is the most common review I get, and while I appreciate that you enjoy my story enough to want to see another installment, please be patient. I am a poor college student who also works a job and attends summer school. Also, if you request or express a desire to see a new installment, please do not beg, okay? I know it can be frustrating to not see an update in a story you like, but understand that as much as the author may want to, they have commitments in the real world that often take precedence over finishing the latest chapter of the fanfiction you like. Also, be aware that good writing takes time as well. I am not saying not to express the desire to see a new chapter, just try to be a little more thoughtful is all I'm asking. That said, for the most part I consider myself a pretty friendly person. If you have questions or ideas or constructive feedback, please do not hesitate to include them in a review or drop a PM if you want to chat! I consider almost all of my feedback even if it doesn't ultimately get included in the story and I often find myself in need of someone to bounce ideas off of. The only feedback I don't consider is deliberate bashing or flaming that has no concrete or supportive structure. I understand that not everyone will like what I write. Some may see me as the next great author, others as worse than an illiterate pustule on the face of humanity. But, this is who I am and this is what I do. I try always to strive to do better, but I can't please everyone. So, I do what I think is best. I didn't start out with the skills I have now, and neither do most people. I had to work hard to get where I am now, which included writing stories that weren't very well written overall, enduring criticism from the genuine praise and feedback to the mindless flame, picking up and dropping stories, and reworking characters with help from readers and beta. Being a fanfiction author isn't easy, but if you put in the effort, it can be a rewarding hobby and a great experience for both the writer and the readers. I support OCs, most kinds of shippings (het, slash, femslash, ocxcanon, canonxcanon, crack...), although I only actually 'ship' a few specific couples, as long as they are given the time and effort needed to make a good character or story. I also support alternate universes, fluff, and retellings. The only things I don't support are fics that glorify things are such pedophilia, incest, rape, abuse, and bashing religious or atheist groups. Note: I have shipped older and younger characters before but ONLY if the fic portrays them as when they are both adults. If they aren't, then I only read fics where the relationship is platonic. I find these things repulsive. I know fics will continue to exist about them, but I will not write them myself unless it is to talk about how horrible these behaviors are to me. Anyway, that aside, I hope you enjoy my stories. I like video games, anime, manga, USA network, movies, comic books, and tabletop RPGS. I am such a nerd... you have been warned. XD Avatar-san | |||||
