Author has written 8 stories for Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, and Batman Begins/Dark Knight. D6, as in, DeepSixing. The reason for my penname is actually...really stupid. My first fanfic ever, Thicker Than Water, was a PotC fic. I thought I would be all cool and look up nautical terms. I came across "Deep Six" which basically meant "to get rid of." I found this utterly hilarious, seeing as how I had been "deep sixing" so many of my drafts. Yeah. I'm a freak. Remember: Your Inner Editor is for AFTER the first draft of your story. Right now, let the story take you where it wants. If the story goes a certain way, then that's how it was meant to be. If something goes wrong, write a way to fix it, don't change what's already been written. NEVER DELETE YOUR WORDS UNTIL AFTER THE FIRST DRAFT! Maybe leaving it will even make your story better later, or turn in a way you wouldn't expect. You want your story to surprise you, because if it's predictable to you, it is probably predictable to most of your readers as well. This is the hardest thing for me to learn, hence my name. P.S. I love constructive criticism -- bad or good. I always want to improve my writing. Reviews make my day!
