Author has written 7 stories for Harry Potter. Ah, the ubiquitous profile. I hate these things. What can I say that makes me interesting enough to make you read my stories if you weren't going to already? Well, if you're looking over my profile because you're honestly interested in finding out about me, you've already learned that being put under the magnifying glass tends to turn me into a bi...grump. Definitely a grump. First things first, I suppose. I'm 30, married, kids, house, minivan, semi-expensive china. My age is starting to frighten me; my husband is a dear who puts up with my obsessive writing; my kids are cute and reasonably clean; my house is bordering on ancient and not clean whatsoever; our minivan handles the mountains we live in with more finesse than I originally gave it credit for, and the china is a pattern that I didn't pick out, though my mother-in-law is very fond of it. I love to write (obviously, or you wouldn't be reading this) and hope to add many stories to this site. The Harry Potter universe is a particular obsession of mine right now and any stories written or in the works that you'll see on this site are based there, at least for the time being. I've been making up stories in my head since I was...well, I must have been very young, because I honestly don't remember a time when I wasn't lost in some imagining; I have only acquired the discipline to write my creations down consistently as an adult, though. An unexpected result of motherhood... What else can I throw out there? I'm an unashamed geek, love Thai food, taught myself to play the piano, draw Celtic knotwork with reasonable proficiency and my nose is pierced. I don't like the feel of unglazed pottery, lima beans, remakes of classic cartoons or the fact that I've got an explanation button. If these scintillating facets of my personality haven't made you determined to beat down my doors and ask me to lunch, then oh well. Hopefully you'll at least enjoy the stories... | |||||||
