Author has written 34 stories for Harry Potter, Psych, StarTrek: Voyager, and Alex Rider.

Hi. I'm Nyxie (short for Nyxelestia). Obviously not my real name, but that's what I use. Deal with it. I used to be Black Blood Dragon Goddess, but changed it to the one I have now.

I Know You're Listening

Name: Just call me Nyxie. (Or, if you're a rapist, try Miah).

Age: 191. I'm not lying - I'm just being a little...roundabout...with the truth. See if you can figure it out. (Think of the number the Chinese and Greek Zodiacs have in common in terms of cycles).

Location: L.A. - the city. All snuggled up between the rich kids of Malibu and the snobs of Santa Monica.

Personality: Why don't you find out?

What's In A Name

Nyx is the ancient Greek goddess of the Night. Hence the 'Nyx' part of it.

'-elestia' comes from 'celestial', because I love the night sky and am an occasional space geek (I've even been to space camp). I dropped the l for a smoother sounding name. Along with which, "Celestia" is a computer program for space viewing, and what a lovely program it is...not to mention the fact I'm on a computer so much. I dropped the c for easier spelling.

Bulletin Board

Three Days Grace (Night Cast Series) - To be Deleted, and hopefully re-written under one blanket story, "Night Cast". But the verdict's still out on that one, and I may just delete it and be done with it.

Malagosto, Chapter 13, Teaser: Alex's main job is really just to provide a cover. But obviously, he gets bored pretty quickly. So he decides to help...and it's a damn good thing he did.

Harry's Second Chance, Chapter 3, Teaser: To go suddenly from headmaster to student is a rather disorienting experience. Ah, well - at least the classes are much easier this time. Too much easier. In fact, this could get very boring, very fast...Harry hadn't thought of that.

To Isabella Rosemary Twan:

Sweetheart, thank you for the review. There are a few things I'd like to clear up before I get on with this.

1.) I'm 16, sweetheart. I'm not significantly older than you in the broad sense, but in teen years, that's a lot.

2.) Cutting is also known as self-harm and self-injury. Google either one of those and you will find a wealth of information. Purely by the fact you don't know about this, I figure you must live an extraordinarily sheltered life - right now, self-harm is becoming one of the fastest growing disorders among teens, especially among girls, in America, and it's spreading to other countries, too.

3.) A 'gothic' story would be a story with gothicism and gothic styles (meaning the ancient east Germanic tribe, the 12th-15th century cultural and archetectural styles, or the modern-day culture emphasizing grotesque, mysteriousness, and desolation) as the key center point to the story. I don't write these, with maybe one exception, which will not be posted for quite some time. What you mean is 'darkfic', which is basically any fic that happens to deal with harsh, mature themes within its contents, to an extreme point. These I do write, sporadically. Most of the time, I deal with mildly mature themes within my normal range fics.

Now that we have those facts out of the way...

First of all, I'm not depressive, anymore. I started cutting when I was 12, and quit fully when I was about 14, late 14. Today, my emotions are much like any other person's, with my depressed moods coming just as often as my elated moods, in time with what life hurdles at me. If you want to know, I've actually been in great spirits for the last couple of weeks - I've been feeling great about my grades and finals, and I just spent a good week recuperating from the harsh effects of the end of school. As for 'you should be happier', I don't need it, but thank you, anyway.

I know many fanfic writers' works directly reflect their moods, especially teenage girls, but I'm not one of them. My work sometimes reflects my personal issues that I go through in life, but it's always from the objective perspective.

Now, I also take it you don't like smut? And, what do you mean by 'freaked out', exactly? Because you also told me I was scaring you, essentially, and yet you were telling me to be 'happier', so I must ask exactly what you meant by it.

PM me, if possible (I notice you reviewed anonymously). If not, you can find my e-mail address by clicking the link above. (Remember to full size the pop-up window when you do).
