My friend said I should explain more about my reasons for doing this, and for flaming random bad!fic, but I don't quite know how. I think my main problem is with the bad name all the bad fic authors give OCs. I think the odd OC in a fic to make the story progress is good. That's not what a Mary-Sue is. A Mary-Sue is a vehicle for the authors lack of sexual activity; whether by age or fugly-ness I don't really know nor care.
That's unfair. Mary-Sue is also a way for the author to get rid of those little anxiety's that fill their every day life, and to allow them to relive their daydreams C:
I honest to god wish at least once in a while an author would have the guts to confront the bad reviewer, rather than delete the review, hit report abuse and pretend that it never happened, while they cry into their pillows at night because it just hurts sooo bad.
