Author has written 11 stories for Stargate: SG-1, Superman, and Harry Potter.

Alrighty... my profile. Yeah.

I'm a crazy Superman nut, but it was Stargate SG-1 that got me into the ff.net world. I've been reading Harry Potter stuff recently-- easing the withdrawal since the books are done (le sigh).

Um. I'm a band geek-- flute. If I see a movie and I like it, I usually buy the soundtrack to get me thru to the time when the movie comes out on DVD. I'm big on the movies, though- I'm a fulltime student so my parents pay my health insurance and I don't own a house or car, so I use my lovely disposable income (the bit that doesn't go toward tuition, and, y'know, food) for seeing movies and buying DVDs. It's bad. When it's not movies, it's TV. Love LOST, Cold Case, and Law & Order: SVU. And, of course, SG-1 and the X-Files, even though they're not making any new episodes. And Firefly. Recently saw all of Firefly (that involved lots of not sleeping, and finally understanding Serenity, which I saw a year before any episode of the show) and love it; it's great for one-liners... "Mine is an evil laugh."

M'kay- I'm 21, go to college in Minnesota (yay snow days, boo shoveling)... I'm both sarcastic and shy. I'm in the marching band and the symphonic band. I wore a tinfoil hat once; mostly because it got on my sister's nerves. I love fireworks. My parents are not divorced, nor are they having 'troubles.' I keep a roll of duct tape in my backpack just because. I don't know anything about cars at all. I listen to the oldies more often than anything else. Chocolate is good, so is caffeine. I have a real life, occassionally I need to attend to it. I love to travel- roadtrips, band trips, whatever. I like to play softball and broomball; I like to watch baseball, hockey, and soccer. Football (American Football) is a waste of time. I will never get a proper tan, but I look pretty snazzy with a sunburn so it's okay. I get along with my mom and always have (my dad is awesome, too, but the mom-daughter dynamic is the infamous one). I've got a lot of respect for John Williams. I know a lot of blonde jokes. I'm majoring in journalism. I can't sing. I never win at Yahtzee or Battleship, and I've never played a game of Monopoly all the way through. I google things when I'm bored. I speak a very small amount of French. I'm pretty decent at Minesweeper. My printer hates me. I'm a fan of water balloons. I don't have any allergies, but I get puffy when I get stung by a bee. I don't like confrontation. I only use coasters when my mom is around. I like to go barefoot. Potbelly's is better than Subway.

That's the basic idea of me. Erm; female, if you didn't pick up on that.

My time is split between ff.net, livejournal, and facebook... so yeah. Oh, and YouTube. Lot's of YouTube-age. Also, I've recently stumbled across Petulant Poetess and Ashwinder as well. I'm doing a lot of reading.

The avatar thing is Heath Ledger's joker (truly awesome!) and I found the picture using Google, so... I didn't do it, I didn't make it, I'm not making money; don't sue me! If the owner (whoever owns these things...) wishes, I'll take it down if asked.

what I'm working on (in order, sort of):

Identity Crisis: I've been working on this one since I finished Life After the Fall, but I didn't spend any major time on it 'til after I finished POV. It begins when Superman meets Martha outside Metropolis General and calls her 'mom' in front of a couple of police officers, and it takes off from there. Minor slip-up after minor slip-up lead to a few friends beginning to expect something they'd never considered before, Lois stumbling deeper into her friendship with Clark and then upon the truth, and plenty of head-shaking on the part of a wizened ambulance driver. And Richard isn't a bad guy!! That's the best part, I think- I'm so tired of writing him as an asshole...

The Veil: Hermione dies due to being distracted when she was saving Snape's life. Snape, consequently, has a few issues to work through dealing with that. Somebody suggests sketching. Hermione gets yanked back to the corporeal side of the Veil to finish off her Unfinished Business a.k.a. Bellatrix Lestrange... and possibly help Snape sort through some stuff as well. This idea hit me at about six o'clock one evening, I typed up the first chapter, went 'yeah, that works,' posted it by nine, and then went 'crap, where do i go from there?' I now have a basic plot outlined in my head, but it's taking a bit to get it properly put together. It's HG/SS because I've always had a soft spot for Severus (especially after Alan Rickman got the part) and Hermione's character can be twisted around to suit his needs (also hers-- never once in the books did I feel she was inclined to be a stay-at-home mom, though I did approve and Hermione and Ron in the canon and all; it's a weird, fanfic thing, I think, needing to pair up non-canon people just to keep things interesting).

unnamed Harry Potter fic: My apologies-- I started reading the series over again and got sucked in... again. I should've expected it, I suppose. (le sigh) For now, I'm kind-of-sort-of working on two different HP fics. The first is already about a hundred pages long, but it's all summary and no scene, which doesn't make for good fic, so it won't be up for awhile; it's an OC fic, which really isn't usually my style but the character is holding onto my brain awfully tight, about Aberforth Dumbledore's daughter and her part in the first war and Harry's life. I'd like to say it's quite good, but that's a matter of opinion. The second is really a spattering of short fics I keep thinking of things to add onto-- all HG/SS.

Identity Crisis Yesteryear: A spattering of short, one-shot-style chapters in what has become the Identity Crisis Universe. They feature background info and side-stories for ID Crisis and it's coming sequal, providing insight into our main cast of characters as well as a few of the peripheral characters who once played a larger part in Clark and Lois' lives. This is basically a collection of plot-bunnies I can't chase in ID Crisis and tidbits of backstory that don't make the final cut.

unnamed sequal to Identity Crisis: So I finally got sorted with those annoying bridge chapters, did a bit of editing in the pre-written stuff, outlined an ending... and began the sequal because I didn't get through everything I had in my head concerning this story by the conclusion proposed in that outline. Slightly hypocritical... maybe, but necessary, I think. This sequal is about recovery and family... or it probably will be...

A Light in the Sky: When Kal-El crashed to Earth, he wasn't alone in his little spaceship-- Kara Jor-El, his baby sister, was with him. Clark and his sister Maggie are raised by the Kents until Maggie turns fifteen, when she is taken away to a prestigeous boarding school light-years away. Clark goes on to become Superman, visiting Maggie on his way to Krypton. After his return, Maggie shows up, soon followed by members of the Intergalactic Council, ready for a murder trial in which Maggie is a witness. As the antiquated code would have it, the only person who can oversee a trial involving a Kryptonian is another Kryptonian, and, as there are only two of them left in the Universe, Clark is the lucky guy. (this one has a bit of Smallville and Batman Begins mixed in with it, or it will. Eventually.)

Starlight: A work-in-progress focussing on Lois and Clark's friendship before and after his trip to Krypton and what some other people around the office see of it. Prettymuch completely different from the movies.

Not Who You Thought I Was: Jason is in his senior year of high school, about to graduate at the top of his class, a science wiz and band geek, all set to go to Metropolis University, when Lex Luthor shows up at a school assembly, raving about the son of Superman.

A Trip to Atlantis-- I randomly come back to this and write a few paragraphs. It's slow going, I'll be updating sometime this year, though... I think. Maybe.

unnamed sequal to Life After the Fall: somebody mentioned they'd like a sequal for this one and, though I usually don't think in sequals (finish the story the first time around, you know?) I started writing a few ideas down in the little world I had going for this story and now I've got about fifteen pages on its way to becoming its own fic

I have a handful of Stargate SG-1 fics saved on my computer as well, and I'm working on (and by working on I mean I open up the documents and read what I've already written every couple of months) those that I've already posted... can't make any guesses at how long it'll take me to get those up- I haven't forgotten them, though.
