Author has written 24 stories for Lost, Van Helsing, Hustle, Wicked, Robin Hood BBC, and We Will Rock You. Hey all, I thought it was time for a profile update. I've been a member of this site for at least two years now and I thought a reshuffle was in order. So here's what you probably wanted to know. Name: Kate Writing and reading alike, I much prefer the third person to the first, I'm also have a huge fondness for description without much dialogue. I love imagery and being able to picture the scene without it all being spelt out, yet without having to work too hard. Also, I never write accents into dialogue unless I'm using another language and/or the word 'ain't', purely because I find it easier; though saying that I try and make my dialgoue fit the character I'm writing for. Pairings: WWRY: Meat/Brit, Meat/Khashoggi, Scara/Gaz also, if you read 'One Flash of Light' by Thessaly (if you haven't - do, it's one of the best fanfiction stories I have ever read) then I also kinda got into shipping Meat/Moxy. Do not ask. When I write I do tend to have a bias towards one character in particular, normally female, normally the ones you know the least about. My fics seem to be from this character's perspective or character centric. At the moment the obsessions are with Svetlana Sergievsky, Marian, Morgana and Meatloaf. I sometimes dip into Ros Myers and Elphaba but only rarely and when I'm in a really dark mood. I'm a sucker for romance, any kind of historical or policital fiction (as long as they've done their homework) and I also enjoy fics where bonds are shown - normally friendship or brotherhood. This is why I adore the bohemians, they have loyalty in spades. Published Fics: If anyone has been drawn here because of my fic The Valerious Line, I'm sorry to say I may never finish it. I certainly will not be updated in the near future. The Lost Holy Texts This is probably going to be my take on 50 drabbles in one-shot form because if there's anything I despise in this world it is the drabble... Due to my attachment to a certain character it'll probably be quite biased towards her but there is so much to explore. Never fear though, some of our favourite bohemians will be making several appearances. The only thing you will not see is OC centric chapters, I will only throw names into fics for group effect, never to make an OC famous... However much they beg me. In The Works: There's a Wicked chapter fic coming. I'm really excited about it. But I want to write it all before I start to post it, it works better that way. I've written about 3 chapters already. I'll post the summary to keep you guys going for now. She told him she would be alright, that she would meet him at Kiamo Ko after helping her sister. But something was wrong. It had been a week, and she still had not come. Something must’ve happened—he was coming to find her. Fiyeraba. Then there's my writing for Chess, I'm hoping this will be finished and of a novel-like scale before I even attempt to publish it here. It's the backstory surrounding Svetlana and starts Pre Chess and ends Post Chess. All updates will depend on my workload, my inspiration and my rehearsal schedule (until the end of January). Then, with it being my GCSE year, doubtless I will use study breaks to write, but publishing and updating will become less frequent.
