Author has written 5 stories for Phantom of the Opera, Lord of the Rings, and Mummy.

So, after a three and a half year hiatus, I have decided to come back to FanFiction.net. Now that I'm in college, I hope that the quality of my writing has improved slightly from when I was in 8th and 9th grade. My old stories still made me giggle, and I might consider updating a few of them if some readers wished it.

A little about myself, perhaps? My real name is Alanna, and I am a Creative Writing major, with minors in Spanish and music. My dream is to one day write fantasy books for children and young adults, while traveling the world, singing opera, and raising a family on the side. I love animals and the great outdoors, and I am lucky to own two toy poodles, named Luna and Arya (10 points if you can guess what book characters they are named after). I am also blessed with a loving family and a fantastic group of friends.

Hopefully you will enjoy my stories. I'll be writing them when I can grab time between homework, rehearsals, and sleeping off my long days of running around campus.

Favorites:

Movies: The Phantom of the Opera; The Lord of the Rings trilogy; the Star Wars saga; The Avengers; Thor; Labyrinth; Van Helsing; The Pink Panther films; the Pirates of the Caribbean movies; Saving Private Ryan; the Indiana Jones films; The Mummy; Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame; the Jurassic Park series; The Princess Bride

Books: Dracula; The Phantom of the Opera; 'Salem's Lot; Phantom; The Princess Bride; Sherlock Holmes; The Bible; The Lord of the Rings trilogy (and The Hobbit, of course); the Harry Potter books; the Alex Rider series; the Pendragon series; the Inheritance trilogy; the Redwall series; the Artemis Fowl series; The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy trilogy; the Discworld series; and about a million more books which would take over an eternity to list...

Actors/Actresses: Gerard Butler; Tom Hiddleston; Benedict Cumberbatch; Martin Freeman; Richard Armitage; Harrison Ford; Ramin Karimloo; Hugh Jackman; James Franco; Anne Hathaway

Musicals: I've enjoyed nearly every musical that I've seen or been in; my favorites include The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, Jesus Christ Superstar, Godspell, The Lion King, and Hairspray.

Instruments/Music: I enjoy playing the harp and piano, and I am training to sing opera music. My iPod is filled with Broadway music, movie soundtracks (John Williams, Howard Shore, and the like), Josh Groban, Dave Matthews Band, Coldplay, OneRepublic, the Killers, and Neon Trees (the only band that I've ever met).

Video Games: I like playing computer games, such as the Myst series; World of Warcraft, Plants vs. Zombies, and Skyrim. I do play Neopets (element4star), which I haven't been able to give up since I was 13. I also enjoy attempting to kick my brother's butt in Halo 3. And while this is not a video game, I am part of a Dungeons & Dragons group at college. Pretty nerdy stuff, but fun.

Muses! (This is part of my original profile, so I can't bring myself to get rid of it just yet)

Erik/the Phantom: Ok, he's a Gerik-type Phantom. He only comes out at night because of my phantom-hating brother, but other than that, he helps me write music. We get along pretty well, as long as I don't try to hug him...

Dracula: Who could not have Dracula as a muse? He's awesome. He looks like Geracula (sense a pattern?). He's normally pretty depressed, because no one likes him very much. I give him chocolate-covered cherries, which makes him happy, but it also gives him indigestion...We get along just fine, as long as he doesn't try to hug me...or come near me at all, for that matter.

Dracula: What's this? Dracula again? Yep, but this time, it's Van Helsing Dracula, who is awsome. I need to plan a final showdown or something between my two Dracula muses, or something. Anyway, we'll call this one Vladislaus Dracula...

Sherlock Holmes: He's currently trying to invent something for Dracula to feed on other than blood. So far, chocolate-covered cherries work best. He also plays chess.

Blackheart: Yes, Blackheart from Ghost Rider. How could you not love the son of the devil? Well...(rephrases)...how could you not love some dude with black hair and sideburns?

Jonathan Carnahan: My favorite movie character from The Mummy. He is stupid, drunk, funny, sometimes intelligent, often drunk, handsome in a British sense, rather drunk, and an all-about sneakyish-pickpockety-lovable-gambling-drunken-likeable idiot. 'Nough said.

Artemis Fowl: I have formally decided that this child is my favorite character in a book. And he's smart. Umm...yay?

Jareth: He's the king of the goblins, and he's played by David Bowie. Can't get much cooler than that.

Loki: I'm sorry, I'm too flustered to formulate a proper description.
