A deadline is negative inspiration.
Still, it's better than no inspiration at all.

Well, it certainly has been awhile since my last update. With school and work, I haven’t really had the time to write or post anything on here. However, it is my goal to begin writing again and to finish the stories that I started so long ago. I do wish to state though that I’m not making any promises to be updating on a weekly basis because as we all know that life can be hectic and I do need to stay focused on my schooling. Nevertheless, I consider writing to be a source of enjoyment as well as a pleasurable distraction, so overall I hope that all of you enjoy reading my drabbles as much as I enjoy writing them. :)
Inspirations:
Songs: I can't express enough how songs influance my writings! When i'm listening to a song that has touched me in some way i can't help but, want to project it onto whatever pieces i'm working on at the moment.
Life: Many aspects of my writings come from experiances I've had, movies i've seen as well as experiances of friends and family. I believe that if you write somthing that a reader can relate to you've struck gold!
Interest: It helps immensely, when you write about somthing your deeply interested in. I know it seems obvious but, if you start writing about somthing that doesn't command your attention you most likely will loose interest and won't finish.
Authors: In my opinion the holy grail of all authors is Anne Rice, her use of discription and the way she weaves a story is compelling. I have been enthralled by her storys ever since the age of 10( yes i scored high on my Reading comprehension levels.) and i've never found an author who has made me want to read and re-read her storys as much as her. I'd have to say my faveriot story of her's is "The Vampire Lestat", it's witty, historicaly enthralling, and all out suductive. I suggest you read the entire Chronicals, you won't be able to put it down, until you've read cover to cover. Promise.
