Okay, so I haven't died! I've been busy...AP work, stupid Sweet 16 Parties (more like weddings...eww), Vermont, Europe, and a bunch of other stuff. I will be writing both Harry Potter...and my new Twilight story, but things are going to take longer for a while. I'm sorry. After Breaking Dawn, we'll see what happens. Don't lose faith in me...please. :)
"Well, I'd love to wear a rainbow every day...and tell the world that everything's okay, but I'll try to carry off a little darkness on my back. 'Till things are brighter, I'm the man in black." Man in Black_ Johnny Cash
I'm Meaghan. I'm sixteen, and I'm (as of September fourth) a Junior.
Harry Potter, Gilmore Girls, and Twilight (despite the annoying grammatical errors and typos). I'm finding myself interested in The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Watch it?
Degrassi's good, too. :)
I'm obsessive compulsive, so I tend to to be critical about most Twilight stories on this site. I don't write mean reviews.
Umm...I hope you take the time to read one of my stories and please review! I love reviews! They make me so happy. If you ever want to email me (meaphan@optonline.net) for any reason, even just to talk, I'm completely available for that.
Also, I have had a bunch of people email me and ask me questions about how to submit a story and stuff along those lines. They always seem to say, "I'm sorry I'm bothering you. I'm sorry if this is annoying," but it's not. If you need help, I'm happy to help, so don't feel bad. :)
Okay, umm, I ship:
Harry Potter: Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, Remus/Tonks, and James/Lily. I also like (just for fanfiction) Harry/Draco and Remus/Sirius.
Degrassi: Dylan/Marco, Paige/Alex, Sean/Emma, Darcy/Spinner, and Craig/Ellie.
Gilmore Girls: Jess/Rory. Lane/Zach. Luke/Lorelai.
Twilight: Edward/Bella. I'm an Edward girl, but I adore Jacob. :)
(This isn't my own) --I am the girl kicked out of her home because I confided in my mother that I am a lesbian. I am the prostitute working the streets because nobody will hire a transsexual woman. I am the sister who holds her gay brother tight through the painful, tear-filled nights.
We are the parents who buried our daughter long before her time.
I am the man who died alone in the hospital because they would not let my partner of twenty-seven years into the room.
I am the foster child who wakes up with nightmares of being taken away from the two fathers who are the only loving family I have ever had. I wish they could adopt me.
I am one of the lucky ones, I guess. I survived the attack that left me in a coma for three weeks, and in another year I will probably be able to walk again.
I am not one of the lucky ones. I killed myself just weeks before graduating high school. It was simply too much to bear.
We are the couple who had the realtor hang up on us when she found out we wanted to rent a one-bedroom for two men.
I am the person who never knows which bathroom I should use if I want to avoid getting the management called on me.
I am the mother who is not allowed to even visit the children I bore, nursed, and raised. The court says I am an unfit mother because I now live with another woman.
I am the domestic-violence survivor who found the support system grow suddenly cold and distant when they found out my abusive partner is also a woman.
I am the domestic-violence survivor who has no support system to turn to because I am male.
I am the father who has never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men.
I am the home-economics teacher who always wanted to teach gym until someone told me that only lesbians do that.
I am the man who died when the paramedics stopped treating me as soon as they realized I was transsexual.
I am the person who feels guilty because I think I could be a much better person if I did not have to always deal with society hating me.
I am the man who stopped attending church, not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind.
I am the person who has to hide what this world needs most, love.
I am the person who is afraid of telling his loving Christian parents he loves another male.
I'm the one who can't accept myself
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR MY DEGRASSI-STORY READERS: Okay, you must have been wondering if something was going on (hopefully) because I never take more than a week, two weeks TOPS to update. I've been having a serious problem with Degrassi, and ever since the 7th Harry Potter book came out, I went back into my old self, which was a girl who could never write (or practically think lol) about anything but Harry Potter. So, until further notice, I'm not going to be writing any more chapters in the Degrassi stories. Degrassi...I think, is a little bad lately. Don't worry; I still have ideas for my stories. I never write a story without having practically the whole thing planned, but if I write them right now, the writing itself will be crappy. I'm sure you understand that it's for your benefit. However, Harry Potter will never disappear, so don't worry about those stories. ;) I do apologize, though. I really do.
"You're JOKING!" said Fred Weasley loudly.
The tension that had filled the Hall since Moody's arrival suddenly broke... Nearly everyone laughed, and Dumbledore chuckled appreciatively.
"I am not joking, Mr Weasley," he said, "though, now you mention it, I did hear an excellent one over the summer about a troll, a hag and a leprechaun who all go into a bar -"
Professor McGonagall cleared her throat loudly.
"Er - but maybe this is not the time ... no ..." said Dumbledore. "Where was I? Ah yes, the Triwizard Tournament ..."

"Oh no, sir, no," said Dobby, looking suddenly serious. "'Tis part of the house-elf's enslavement, sir. We keeps their secrets and our silence, sir. We upholds the family's honor, and we never speaks ill of them - though Professor Dumbledore told Dobby he does not insist upon this. Professor Dumbledore said we is free to - to-"
Dobby looked suddenly nervous and beckoned Harry closer. Harry bent forward.
Dobby whispered, "He said we is free to call him a - a barmy old codger if we likes, sir!"

- War doesn't determine who is right, only who is left.- I'm not sure who said that.
