BITTERSWEET LOVE An "Angel Densetsu" Fan-fiction Rating: T for language Genre: Romance By Silverneko9lives0 Ogisu is bitter toward Ikuno, but after a sweet little moment, he starts to doubt about how he feels for her. Is there something deeper? Ogisu Takashi trudged through the park, slouching and his hands in his pockets, glaring at anyone who caught his eye. He was beyond ticked off. Shirataki Ikuno once again kicked his sorry ass to kingdom come. “Fucking bitch,” he muttered. “I hope you don’t mean me.” He turned around and glared. Ikuno was just staring at him with the same look she always held in her eyes, calculating and somewhat cold. Her emotions were unreadable as usual. “What are you doing here?” “What else? I’m going home,” Ikuno stated, folding her arms. “Then why are you following me?” Takashi growled. “Maybe because my house is in the same direction,” she said. Takashi raised an eyebrow, but winced. She did do a number on him, as usual. “Would you like me to take a look at that?” “Are you fuckin’ kidding? You’re the one who beat the shit out of me!” “Actually, I’m quite serious Ogisu-kun,” Ikuno said. Takashi blinked; she never called him by his name before. He wasn’t even aware that she knew his name. “I have a first aid kit in my pack if you’re okay with it.” Takashi was in too much shock to refuse; they found a bench and sat down before Ikuno took out the kit and began to dab at his wounds. He couldn’t help but blush when her fingers brushed against his skin while dabbing at the blood. During this, he took to staring at her, but she was too busy to notice. Her skin was very clear and she did have pretty eyes…and lips for that matter. He blushed deeper. He was sure his face was almost as red as his hair. “There you are,” she said, finished and packing up her things yet again. “Huh? Wha…” Ikuno stared at him, an eyebrow raised. “Is that all you can manage?” “Well, what am I supposed to say? You beat me up numerous times and never said my name and now you just show up and ask me if you could clean me up!” “A simple thank you would do.” “I don’t give a fuck about that!” “Really.” “Fuck yeah!” “Then why were you blushing?” Takashi was rendered speechless. Yeah, why was I blushing? He asked himself. She was a violent bitch for the love of God! “Because, I, uh…” Ikuno shrugged and walked off. “It’s fine. It’s not like I was hoping for you to say you liked me or something like that.” “Right, why would I say that?” “Exactly,” she said, walking off, head held high on her shoulders. Then Takashi realized what she had said, and what he had said. He turned back to her, “hey, wait!” he called at her. She didn’t stop. “Shiritaki-san!” She doubled around and stared at him, her eyes wide with shock. Off guard for once, he thought. “Uh…” Great now what do I say? “Chyoowannagoutsumtime?” “Come again?” Takashi took a breath and got into a different stance. “Do you want to go out sometime? Maybe this weekend?” Ikuno blinked, but a small pink tint flushed her cheeks. “I can’t see why not. Sure, I’ll go out with you this weekend.” Takashi nodded, not sure why he even asked. He shouldn’t even had cared, but something about this little confrontation beat down their other ones in which he always got beat up by her. It didn’t seem so important to beat her up anymore. May review if you wish, don't really care, just wanted to post this for a while ;) Sorry about the swearing, it was mandatory to keep these characters in character, otherwise I wouldn't have put it in there. "Angel Densetsu" is by the same author as "Claymore." It's about a boy who has the face of a demon, but the heart of an angel. He is mistaken for a delinquent and ends up befriending the hooligans at his school and a pretty martial artist who becomes his girlfriend (she knows he's actually a very sweet guy). A story that teaches us once again not to judge a book by it's cover. Ikuno and Takashi are minor characters who come in later in the story. Ikuno is also a martial artist, but not the same girl I told you about above. Takashi is a delinquent who constantly tries defeat her, but keeps getting the crap beat out of him. He's our comic relief character. Also, everyone's mean to Ikuno, so I really pity and admire her at the same time. Hope you at least liked it if you read it. | |||||||||||
