My Pen Name is taken from a character in R. A. Salvatore's DemonWars saga, just in case anyone was wondering. xD I'm not a native English speaker, which is obvious from the country flag my profile displays. I have, however, been studying this language for over fifteen years, and it (along with Japanese) is also my university major. As such, I am pretty confident that - by this point - I've reached a skill level that allows me to make more than competent use of it. On the other hand, I'm also very conscious that clumsiness and slip-ups most likely exist in my language use. Please do point out any mistakes or typos I may have made in my writing; I would definitely be grateful! If you have anything to say or ask, please feel free to contact me. I'm fairly social! My constant beta-reader is Desu FTW. It shouldn't be assumed that everything I post has been seen by her; in fact, she mostly helps with original projects that I don't post online. But I'm crediting her because she's amazing - her tips and patience really helped me improve as a writer, in general. In addition to that, Shades of Green has been a highly significant influence on my writing overall, for which I'm very grateful. She listens to my rambles, gets to read a lot of my fail, and comments (way too nicely!) on everything, which helps a lot. My favorite category and fandom ever is doubtlessly Baldur's Gate. The games are among - if not even simply - the best RPGs I've ever played. And I've played many. And not only that, but I love the people in this fandom as well; I've found more amazing writers here than in most of my other fandoms put together. CURRENT FOCAL PROJECT: Baldur's Gate: The Price of Redemption. Oh man, does this fanfic fail. Don't even get me started on how and why, because I... wouldn't know where to start, rofl! But I love it, anyway. It was my first ever serious and non-childish fan-fiction project, and I simply can't abandon it. In January of 2009, or about then, my beta-reader (Desu FTW) had a look at this. We laughed. Hard. So I'm heavily editing it. Not the plot and nothing really, really major, because that's not really the issue. But... conversation, character development, the technical aspects of writing, and so on. You know, the small things that ultimately accumulate and make or break a story. Then, I'll be continuing it at last. Latest Updates: Shades of Green is beta-reading the new/revised version for me, most likely. So far, I've fully revised the first two chapters and I'm working on the third.
