Welcome to my profile page! Nice to see you.
Yes, I did change my avatar -- thank you for noticing!
It's a pic of Belz and myself, as he signs copies of "Hit List" his latest book written with David Wayne. He was at Book Soup in West Hollywood, CA on 4/24/13 and we all had a *great* time. I wanted to get a pic of myself with Bebe, but that didn't happen because Bebe was on the move, exploring every nook and cranny of the fabulous bookstore. (He did come to me for petting each time I called him. So cute!) I can tell you that Belz looked fabulous, he was in fine form, and it when he realized it was me he gave me a kiss on the lips! LOL! He's the sweetest, kindest, most intelligent man you could ever hope to meet.
If you're a regular visitor to this page, you'll know that I had originally thought about taking it down. Why? Because literary agents do not like writers to do fanfic. Why would that matter? Because I'd originally hoped to have a novel written by the end of 2009, but life had other plans. And now, with the popularity of online publishing for e-readers, writers have more options available than simply working to get literary representation in hopes they can see print via a publishing company.
I have been working on a novel in which my original character (Sarah Zelman) is the focus. It's definitely in progress and I work a little on it almost every day.
I'm also working on new SVU fanfic with Munch & Zelman, as well as polishing up some of my previous fanfic, especially "November Rain." I had posted some fic under my Glock35Gal name, but I'll be reposting that here -- then killing the GG account. This way, readers won't get too confused since you all know me better as Cardinal Robbins. :) Coming up, I'm working on a Munch fanfic with one of my favorite SVU fanfic authors, Luckie D, and we're doing a zombie fic! LOL!
After tweeting a few times with SVU's latest showrunner, Warren Leight, I stumbled across my spec script that I'd written about six years ago. I opened the file and was very surprised: There's a lot to work with in that script. And would you know, a local college (within walking distance, no less) is offering a scriptwriting course! Yes, I've signed up. Instead of writing a screenplay in those six weeks, I'll be insisting the instructor let me polish my SVU spec script.
Warren said that, if I have it submitted via an agent, he *will* look at it. So, that's not a guarantee but it's a slightly hopeful thing. ;)
And do not fret about not seeing as much of Belz on SVU as you'd like! He has been BUSY! If you haven't checked out his book "Dead Wrong: Straight Facts on the Country's Most Controversial Cover-Ups," you should definitely read it! Belz and his writing partner, David Wayne, have made "Dead Wrong" an extremely compelling book. What even better? They have a 'sequel' coming up, which will be released in April 2013, "Hit List." Both books are nonfiction, and I look forward to writing detailed reviews on both of them very soon.
You probably already know Belz has written "UFO's, JFK and Elvis: Conspiracies You Don't Have to be Crazy to Believe," but did you know he's also an accomplished novelist? His fiction includes, "I Am Not a Cop!" and "I Am Not a Psychic!" both written with the amazing Michael A. Black.
Belz also has been keeping busy with appearances at local colleges and comedy clubs, often appearing with his band (Joe Delia & The Belzonix). He's even appeared with Ice at one college, which was something I wish I could have seen. :)
Belz mentioned wanting to appear on Tom Fontana's latest show, "Copper," as John Munch's great-great-grandfather. I think we should make that happen, don't you?
If you agree, please send this TWEET to @CopperTV:
@CopperTV I would LOVE to see Richard Belzer (@MRbelzer) as John Munch's great-great-grandfather on the show! Please make it happen? Thanks!
If you would post this to all the SVU forums and PLEASE, PLEASE spread the word on Twitter, Facebook, LiveJournal, Tumblr, Pinterest and any other forms of social media you can think of, we can make Belz's wish come true! :)
This is the page for Copper, so be sure to 'Like' them on Facebook and leave comments, as well as commenting on their You Tube videos, and on all of their media sites. The more people, the more comments to get Belz on the show, the better. I *love* the show and it's GREAT NEWS that they've been renewed for a second season!

For those of you who don't know me:
I'm a long-time fanfic writer and publisher, who's now into "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" because the character of John Munch is too much fun to write! Check out my fav authors, who have been at this a lot longer than I have. (They're much better at this, too!) Read my work, but don't take it too seriously because I'm in it for fun.
E-mail I get frequently asks, "Why in the heck doesn't your fic get more reviews?!" The answer is: Because it's not like the 'usual' SVU fic you see almost constantly, thus it doesn't draw fans who leave a plethora of reviews. I'm fine with that, since reviews are a treat not a meal. I'm content to do what I do, leave it for my readership, and move on to the next project.
When I'm not writing, I relax by shooting a Glock 35 at the local firing range. (I over-qualified for LAPD, and almost qualified for Burbank PD! Targets. Love to shred 'em!) I listen to a wide variety of music and podcasts on my iPod, from Coolio's rap to soft rock and country. I maintain a Facebook page (Cardinal Robbins), a Twitter account (@Glock35Gal) and you can always send me a message here on FF.Net.
Thank you in advance for reading and reviewing my fics. I always appreciate it!
