About Me

I am a thirty-something who is between jobs because I moved to England from the states. My last job was as a grad student teaching in Recreational Therapy. I specialize in therapeutic arts and relaxation. I am married to an amazing man who puts up with me being filled with childlike wonder. He's very tolerant of the Kim Possible fanboy talk at the dinner table by myself and our two kids. The only bigger fandom in our house is my 5 year old's My Little Pony collection. My pen name was suggested by her.

Spring Update

I'm coming to the end of my first year in England. We've all settled in quite well. I've decided that I am going to look into starting my own buisness as a one-on-one yoga teacher/personal trainer. I guess a yoga therapist wouldn't be a bad description of my new occupation. I also plan to branch out into other types of exercise I have experience in. Wish me luck on this new project. I'm also picking up a new hobby, belly dancing. My new dance teacher keeps saying, "when you performing in public."

Due to all this activity in life, I have accepted my role as a dedicated reader who promises to leave more reviews in the future.

2008 Update

Just returned from a holiday visit to the States to visit family. Being a lady of leisure(housewife) is keeping me busy. It's a juggling act to fit in my hobbies.It looks like it'll be a very artistic year.

I've picked up a new hobby - playing the guitar. Fingerpicking is going well, but my chords need work.

I've moved up to the intermediate bellydance class. It's working on performace skills and shimmying while doing two other things at once. I'll also have my first publc gigs as a bellydancer in Febuary with just enough time to get my costumes together.

I also have a few plot bunnies that have made themselves at home. They're looking at me with their big eyes asking to become stories. I've started to cave and have a few plot outlines in my sketchbook with costumes designs.
