If you're still reading this... hello to you! I'm "Ophelion", my cyber-ego. When I'm Ophelion I can be free and be whoever I want people to believe I am. So "Ophelion" it shall be, and for all you web-mates out there who's wondering about my personal life... guess what, you won't ever get it! I have a muse; his name is Murex and appears in my head as an indigo-shaded microbat. His hobby includes biting, feeding on my brain juice, having random bursts of hyperactivity, and any form of sadistic practice.

Etymology:

You probably don't care but... why "Ophelion"? Well, it's got two merged parts:

- "Opheli-", from "Ophelia", and,
-"-phelion", from "aphelion".

Yes... that sounds really stupid. I've taken out the ending and beginning a's and overlapped the words, you think; but... just read on.

"Ophelia" is my third name and original English name. Also a certain character from Hamlet that I don't really favour, of course... but is an AWESOME artwork by photographer Gregory Crewdson.

"Aphelion" is a word that I learned from astrophysics. This is the point at which a rotating mass is the furthest from the central mass (ie. where the earth is the furthest from the sun) upon its elliptical orbit. The opposite of this is perihelion; also as in apegee and perigee.

Fanfictions:

Bowslingers is my very very first 'fic... It's about a Rogue's journey with an Amazon, and a couple of others along the way. I know this pair-up is not popular in the game Diablo II but I personally like it. By the way, I do dislike the name for this 'fic, which was made up too long ago... but I guess it's stuck by now! Too bad for me.

Fleda, My Child is my interpretation of Claes' history. She's the only main-character cyborg from Gunslinger Girl whose past history is not revealed: how she got there, what happened to her. I've actually done my research on this! Kudos to Wikipedia and all those stories that I've read of murder and attempted murder cases!!

Searching is my spontaneous Bleach 'fic. A oneshot about Hisana and what her life with her loved ones have been for her...

And I know these things are silly and pointless, but I'm way too guilty of this one...
