Author has written 71 stories for Lord of the Rings, Silmarillion, Final Fantasy VII, Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, D.Gray-Man, and No. 6. Profile updated as of April 2013. Calenlass Greenleaf, better known as Cal to most people. Also sometimes Calen in some places, I think... I'm female, American and Taiwanese-Chinese, over 20, an artist, and a non-denominational prudish Christian who is conservative, but with semi-liberal views. Also a snarky derp. It just means I'm not an idiotic narrow-minded being. I write fanfic (since 2006) and I rp (since 2010). Fanfic fandoms: D.Gray-Man, No. 6, anything by Tolkien, and some Bleach (D.Gray-man is my current long-lasting fandom). RP: Mostly Lenalee and Howard Link these days on dreamwidth. I barely write these days, but as of 2013, I wrote one story. I'm still alive... I don't care for slash/yaoi/yuri that much (meaning I don't/can't write it); July 2011 I finally tried writing smut. I'm finally getting somewhere with that. I no longer beta-read, and I review less. RL calls and my time is more focused on RPing these days. However, if I favourite/follow--it's because I like it and I think it has potential. I generally dislike Mary-Sues, bad grammar, hypocrisy, and online whinging/drama/passive-agressiveness. eh, keep me out of that, kthanx. NOTE: Anything labelled "OLD" is...old. They're my earliest attempts at fanfic writing and I can't say I'm too proud of them. I only keep them around because of memories and I don't want to lose any of the reviews. Please don't tell me that there's mistakes in them--I know. They're just too old to be bothered with, all right? None of my stories will ever be slash, yaoi/yuri, or incest. They will not imply or infer to ANY slash, yaoi/yuri, or incest content. Please do not interpret any of my writings as anything except what I have put down. Before you accuse me of being narrow-minded, let me tell you it's a personal choice. I could hardly care less if you like what I don't like. I don't judge people by what pairings they like, and I'd rather you not, either. I can hardly be bothered if you write slash yaoi/yuri; writing is a talent and if you're good at it and if you've got a good hand on the characters, in the end it's a good story that matters. So--I'll read some slash from time to time, actually. There's a couple people out there who are lovely writers, and pairings sometimes don't get in the way of a good story. I do have a thing for unique pairings. For example, in the DGM fandom, I'm absolutely sick of all the Yullens with the apparently same story and same mistreatment of characters. But then again I was never big on hate-ships. There's definitely good Yullens out there. But at the moment everything is pretty awful to read and I've nearly given up because it's just about the same. Or...dear gods...all the OCs. Effing OCs everywhere. Leave me out of that, thanks.
