Hey everyone!

I'm Mara S., fanfic writer and administrator of Idreamofjimmy.com, one of the last remaining Jimmy Neutron fansites on the web. We have episodes, music videos, character profiles, avatars, fanfics, forums...the whole nine yards. So, if you're a fan of JN (or of cartoons in general), you should definitely stop by. OK, obligatory website pitch aside, here's a little more about me:

General Info:

~ I never had TV growing up (I lived in a very rural area and was too busy frolicking around in the woods), so I didn't start watching cartoons until I was a teenager. As such, I haven't grown out of them yet...and I doubt I ever will. They're just too much fun :D

~ My other hobbies include writing original fiction, reading, drawing/illustration, studying dead things (lol, archaeology, how fun you can be), and sitting around wasting my time pondering the big questions in life. And since life can be so patently ridiculous sometimes, I love comedy - especially improv - and I have performed with 2 different teams. I also love animals (birds in particular), hiking, kayaking, fishing...anything that involves nature, come to think of it.

~ In the grand tradition of college hippies, I am a bleeding-hearted social liberal who doesn't understand why people just can't suck up their differences and get along. I mean really. Religiously, I'm agnostic, but with a Christian background. I love religious studies, perhaps because of my strong grounding in science and belief in evolution.

Favorites:

Fave Books: Mara, Daughter of the Nile, The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency series, the Tomorrow When the War Began series, and pretty much any classic work of literature (except the Mayor of Casterbridge...I hate that confounded piece of crap)

Fave TV shows: Psych, Nikita, Ugly Betty, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, Avatar: The Last Airbender, One Piece, Trigun, Jimmy Neutron, Hey Arnold, Kim Possible, and Teen Titans.

Fave pairings: I ship mostly canon, if I ship at all. Here are my ships for the shows listed above: Shawn/Juliet, Bones/Booth (who DOESN'T ship these two?) Betty/Gio, Carter/O'Neill, Daniel Jackson/me (just kidding...sorta), Katara/Aang, Sokka/Toph, Vivi/Kohza, Robin/Zoro, Nami/Sanji, Vash/Meryl, Jimmy/Cindy, Sheen/Libby, Arnold/Helga, Phoebe/Gerald, Kim/Shego (yes, I like slash. Can you blame me? KiGo is hot), and Starfire/Robin.

Fave characters: I love strong female characters, evil or otherwise. My favorite is probably Helga from Hey Arnold, though Shego is a close second.

Random favorite: Chamomile Tea
