Author has written 4 stories for Fullmetal Alchemist. A profile, all about me, huh? I’m a 16 year old girl living on the island of Australia (It’s surrounded by water! There’s no way off!!). I was born in New Zealand, though I suppose that’s not too important seeing as they are both relatively small countries that are relatively unknown. Seeing as this is a site that displays writing talents, I shall now share with those who care (hey, I’m a poet and I didn’t know it) the published works that I enjoy and that may have – in some way unknown to me – inspired my work. J.K.Rowling, with the Harry Potter series – Yes, I follow the mass of people who love Harry Potter. (OMG 7th BOOK!!) I don’t actually read or write any of the fanfiction though, I prefer Rowling’s work, but I do love a cliché crossover with our favourite HP characters. Ursula K. LeGuin – She’s a really good author, and I love her work in Earthsea, but I’ve read a lot of her other books as well. What can I say, I’m a fantasy nut. Douglas Adams – I am, quite fond of The Hitch Hiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series, despite at times being thoroughly confused. Chuck Palahniuk - I saw the movie Fight Club, and had to read the book, which apparently covers more. This guy has such a weird perspective on life and it's awesome. So I'm reading that too, and a couple of his others. And of course, fav TV series, because where would fan fic be without some thing to fan about. That sentence didn't make sense. Fullmetal Alchemist, Gundam SEED, Chrno Crusade, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Inuyasha, Sailor Moon (You can't not), Mew Mew Power (total rip-off of sailor moon shifty), Teen Titans, House M.D. (That show cracks me up), NCIS, Rove, hmmm...I don't watch as much TV as I thought I did...considering half of these aren't on anymore. As well as books and all that stuff, I really love Music. I’m not going to go through the list of bands and Artists that are on my Media Player playlist because we’d be here forever, but it’s a nice bit of information to know. For whatever reason I can come up with. XD So far, I’ve only written works in the Fullmetal Alchemist fandom, but I am working on some stuff for Teen Titans (I’m such a kid XD) Gundam SEED, and Inuyasha. My stories are below, so I’ve figured that I won’t list them, but for Set in Stone I wrote an alternative ending, and decided that it would be difficult for people to read it if they didn’t know where it was. So chapter 23 is here: http://www.mediaminer.org/fanfic/view_ch.php/127462/454854/ I'm in the process of editing Set in Stone, and chapters 1, 2 and 3 have been replaced. I'm really just trying to cover a few plot holes and OoC things that may have occured, so it's not too different, but if you've got the free time and feel like re-reading it, don't be too shocked when parts are different. However, it is taking me 20 years to do so, which is rather odd, considering I'm only 16. And I couldn’t leave a profile about me without some of my favourite quotes: This is fish number six hundred and forty one in a lifetime of goldfish. My parents bought me the first one to teach me about love and caring for another living breathing creature of god. Six hundred and forty fish later, the only thing I know is everything you love will die. The first time you meet that someone special, you can count on them one day being dead and in the ground. - Chuck Palahniuk (really depressing guy, gotta love him) "I had a dream I ate my turtle, and when I woke up, my turtle was gone!" - Ted E. Bear, The Strassman Show When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle. Then I realised the lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked him for forgiveness. - Emo Phillips "Well, I'd say he's dead and it's only very rarely that people recover from that. I mean one guy did it about 2,000 years ago, but that's about it." Somone from Thank God You're Here, I can't remember who or exaclty what he said but it was something to that extent. The truth is you can get orphaned again and again and again. The truth is you will. And the secret is, this will hurt less and less each time until you can't feel a thing. - Good 'ole Chuck Palanhiuk. More people have been slaughtered in the name of religion than any other single reason. That, my friends, that is true perversion. – Harvey Milk One day you will ask me what is more important. My life or yours. I will say mine, and you will walk away not knowing that you are my life. – Khalil Gibran Woman’s faults are many. Men only have two: Everything they say, and everything they do. – Anonymous. Oh, come on! If you can’t laugh at the walking dead, who can you laugh at – Anonymous. Eat a live toad first thing in the morning and nothing bad will happen to you for the rest of the day. – Anonymous. As you slide down the banister of life, may your ass collect many splinters. – Anonymous. Life is like an onion. You peel it off, one layer at a time, and sometimes you weep. – Carl Sandburg. This is your life, and it's ending, one minute at a time. - Chuck Palahniuk, Fight Club. That old saying, how you always hurt the one you love, well, it works both ways. - Chuck Palahniuk, Fight Club. Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then on stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life... The joke is, we all have the same punchline. - Chuck Palahniuk That's not even like a kabillionth of the ones I have. Ya gotta love quotes. So if you share interests with me, or just feel like having some more friends or talking about random crap, feel free to PM me or add me as a friend through LiveJournal (my account's my homepage), or email me at dothepieface@hotmail.com.
