As you've probably noticed, I'm taking a bit of a long break from fanfiction...no ideas, apparently...
Hi. I live on Long Island in New York, and I love it. I'll probably end up living here when I get older (I don't want to say 'when I grow up', because I probably never will because I'm just...not a very mature person). Everybody who reviews my stories--you guys are my heroes. I'm my own worst critic, so it's great to hear that people actually like what I'm writing. Or they don't, and tell me how to fix it. So, reviewers, give yourselves a pat on the back for me, okay?
Umm...I'm considering writing a fic about Peter's side of the story, since nothing is really said about him...yeah. It'll be a while if I actually do it.
I've taken a break from fanfiction to write my own--for lack of a better word--"novel". I won't say much here, because I'm very paranoid when it comes to people stealing my original ideas, but it's about pirates, it's almost finished, and if you love me you'll buy it when it's published. I actually thought of a few names, thanks to MARIEL MY HEROINE...Pyrrhic Victory or Eye of the Storm...however, I'm not sure because I didn't even finish it so yeah.
And yes, I am serious about that last statement. I really do want to get it published. It's a huge dream of mine to have my books published and sold, and have people reading my ideas. Someday maybe my books will be movies. And I'll make millions of dollars and live in a nice house in the Hamptons. Just kidding about the Hamptons.
I owe a lot of my writing to Jaclyn, Mariel, and Lauren. They've helped inspire a lot of my great ideas and help keep me motivated : You can thank Jaclyn for the first When Worlds Collide and Mariel for the second, and Lauren for just everything because she's amazing that way. Also, when I do get around to publishing my pirate thingamabobber, you can thank them all for that as well (along with the composers who wrote the music for Stardust, Sleepy Hollow, Harry Potter, Pride & Prejudice, Becoming Jane, Lord of the Rings, and Pirates of the Caribbean movies).
Anyways, enough about that serious stuff...because serious stuff bores me. I'm actually not very serious at all...I like being goofy and sarcastic, and I think I probably should have been born blonde. As I've already mentioned before, my friends are my life. Here's why:
1. They give you birthday presents
2. You can goof up around them and know that if you're upset, they'll still take you seriously.
3. They'll stand by you if your mom does something stupid like calling you fat. (haha)
4. They let you copy homework.
5. You can tell them your weird dreams of sitting on Tyra Banks' show to promote your novel, and they won't laugh as hard as somebody else would. (tee hee mirages)
6. They invite you to totally rad parties that involve buying new dresses (even if you drag your friend along with your grandma to buy said dresses)
7. They understand you when you get your words jumbled, because they're used to it and probably expect it. this is a humungo-jungo one because I tend to babble...;
8. They don't mind your obsession with vampires or pirates or whatever, or are probably as obsessed--if not MORE--than you are (wink, nudge. you knowwww who you are buddy)
9. You have so many inside jokes with them that it's impossible to watch a movie seriously, because there's bound to be SOMETHING in there that has to do with you. (this is why I can't watch a movie in the movie theater anymore)
and finally,
10. They give the best advice, know when you need a hug, support you in whatever you do, and make you laugh when you feel like you can't even smile. (okay I know that should have been 4 different things, but hey, it sounds nicer all together.)
Some things you should know about me?
- I am a HUGEEEE Rangers fan. hockey=love. sean avery+chris drury=even more love
~ I am very rarely ever on fanfiction anymore. sorry.
- I make fun of myself. a lot. bring on the self-depricating humor!
~Sometimes I find myself playing the role of therapist for my friends. not that I mind very much.
-After I write, I tend to talk a lot fancier than I would if, say, I just woke up. random habit, I know.
~My knuckles are all lumpy.
-I tend to think out loud. Or say things without thinking. You know that block that people have in between what they think and what they say? Yeah...I don't have one. Do you know where I could buy one?
~Weird things happen to me in my sleep. If I get a bruise in my dream, I'll wake up with a bruise, for example.
-I have an extremely eclectic taste in music. My favorite song depends on my mood.
~People either love me or hate me. I don't think there's much of an in-between.
-I'm not afraid to stand up for what I think. It's my mind, so I should be able to defend it.
~I don't think you should argue something unless you really know what you're talking about. That way, you don't look stupid.
-I don't like hypocrites, liars, or people who have to have a compromise for every little thing. I mean, come on, conversations are more interesting when you have totally different views. It's not always about reaching an agreement when you're debating.
~Christian Bale is mad sexy. And he's going to divorce his wife for me someday, just watch. (totally kidding. I'm not a homewrecker, I promise!!)
One last thing. The Mirages are life. Who gives a crap if two's company when three's a party??
Mariel rocks my socks because...she told me to say it.
