I'm Jordie. Or Jay, whichever you prefer. I'm 14 and I'm going to enter high school for the first time soon. I like strawberries, cotton candy, Bulldogs, St. Bernard’s, and anime. Duh I love music, my guitar, my family and friends, the band Brand New, and setting things on fire.I have a very straightforward sense of talking and writing I guess.

My sense of humor takes a lot of getting used to. It’s sick and insane, thanks to my dad. But I guess other people like it. I was once told I add 'spice to their life'. This is funny, since I on occasion can’t even handle the quesadillas at Taco Bell. The sauce in it is ‘mild’. It still burns.

I digress more often than normal people do, if you haven’t already noticed. And if you don’t like it, sucks for you. I do it all the time.

When I’m older, I plan to be a digital artist, an animator, a Myth Buster, a rock star, or an explosives technician. Writing is just a hobby you see. Whenever I put my pencil to the paper, it’s to draw, not to write. My handwriting is crappy, by the way; it’s barely legible. The computer is a blessing to me; it’s where the script is nice and uniform. Everyone can understand me perfect.

I live in Hawaii. No, I’m not Hawaiian by blood. I hate it when people think that. It’s pronounced Ha-vah-ee by the true locals. The regular pronunciation, Ha-wah-ee, is kind of like a slang I guess. There are 8 islands in the chain from biggest to smallest: Hawai’i, Maui (Maow-wee), O’ahu (Oh-ah-hoo), Kaua’i (Kah-wah-ee), Moloka’i (Mow-low-kah-ee), Lanai (Lah-nah-ee), Ni’ihau (Nee-ee-how), and finally, Kaho’olawe (Kah-hoh-oh-lauv-ey).

I live on O’ahu. Hawaii’s a paradise, believe me. But it’s quiet depressing.

I live in paradise, but I’ve never wanted to leave anyplace more. You can’t exactly swim to the other islands; it’s too far and the water has sharks and stuff. I don’t like sharks. I want to move to New York or Malibu when I’m older. Somewhere in the states by the ocean. That’s about the best part of living here; where ever you turn, you will either see the spectacular view of the mountain range or the ocean.

But honestly, I feel confined in Hawai’i; the feeling's brutal. Never ever live here for longer than half a year because you'll never find paradise again. Take my word for it; I’ve been stuck here for the past 13 years.
