How I ended up here: Well, years ago when I was a young girl I used to love writing in school, everytime we got the chance to write a story in English I was the first one with my pen in my hand writing some elaborate story about the randomest thing. The only thing I hated about this was never being given the chance to finish an entire story in my lessons. Then that's when I came across this website, I read a few Winx Club fanfics and was hooked and thought 'hey, maybe I'll give myself a crack at this' and I did and published my first story.

Four years later I'm still here and haven't regretted a thing! I've made some wonderful friends here and gotten hooked into the world of FanFiction, I am not planning on leaving any time soon, as I have so much to do and many stories to write until I can be the best that I can be.

How I'm doing with my work:

Well, I'm doing ok now. I went through a period where I could not be bothered to update at all, I think that's changed now partly because I'm out of college and currently on my gap year, I hopefully will be going to Uni this September so that's exciting.

Writing here is what keeps me sane, without this I have work and nothing from that is getting my creative juices flowing, I want to test it one day. Go a month without FanFiction and see if I go insane!

Nah...I could never do that to myself, unless you want a crazed brunette girl running amuck in the UK!

Updates are fairly frequent for stories that get the most attention, If I get several review for one story that say 'UPDATE' or 'WHERE'S THE NEXT CHAPTER' I am less likely to update that story for a while...

HOWEVER

Reviews that are well thought out, have good points on the and point out what they like and what I could improve on make me smile! And I am more likely to update them. Why? Well because it shows that my readers actually have an interest with me and my stories, not just wanting me to update for the sake of it.

I recently saw a FanFiction profile that said on it that (and I quote) 'She feels a little disheartened whenever she gets emails telling her that someone with a pen name like 'HotVampireSecks' added her to their favourite authors, and it apparently makes her sad because of the level of maturity that she is attracting with her stories.

MAKI SAYS: So? Who cares about pen names? They are a little introduction to what we are on this site, so if you like hot vampire sex then I have no problem with that, so what if you get a favourite with someone of that pen name? I don't care, you never know but that person might have a higher level of maturity than yourself and this website is where they like to let go of their normal lives and be a little silly, that is fine with me and should be with everyone else here.

Don't judge a person by their pen name, that just makes you a bad person...

Unless of course the pen name says 'Sakura Blossom Storm must Die' then we have a problem...

A Little Bit of Info About Me.

CURRENT FAVOURITE FILM: The Devil Wears Prada. (Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep are amazing! Also I love Emily Blunt, showing us all that Brits can act, and well at that!)

CURRENT FAVOURITE SONG: Hey Soul Sister. (I have a slightly unheathly obsession with that song at the moment, every time I listen to it my minds turns into a bizzare happy universe where it's summer all the time!)

CURRENT FAVOURITE TV SHOW: Glee! (Karen Carpenter once said that 'Rainy Days and Mondays get her Down' for me Mondays aren't so bad because it gives me my daily 'Gleek' injection, even so over in the UK we are currently on the 'Rocky Horror' episode, but thanks to Megashare, I am able to watch all the episodes when they are released in America! And I cannot wait for the 'Super Bowl' episode! Heads. Will. Roll!

I'm an 18 year old girl who fell upon this website by chance, and haven't regretted it since! I'm from London in the UK, some people hate London, I however can see nothing but the beauty of it, now say it with me: Maybe its because I'm a Londoner!

I've finished college and ended up top of my class, I did an acting course so I'm not acedemically smart C:! But, I am training to be an Actress and I'm waiting to attend University or maybe even a Drama School in the near future.

I'm a brunnette, and I love m hair colour, its one of those nice ones that gets lighter in the summer and darker in the winter, right now its kind of a light mahogany colour which is cute, I just wish the rest of my hair would behave itself since its thick and bushy. I have to straighten it nearly every day X_X I'm not vain, I promise!

I'm also short, about 5'2, my friends often laugh at the things I do, and it's always closely followed by something being said like 'It's funny because she's short'...Brilliant!

I'm straight, but if Heather Morris came knocking on my door then I wouldn't say no! (She's my girl crush! Other than that I'm straight!)

I am a bit of a social bunny, I'm prone to get rung up be a friend and asked to go out for clubbing, which then leads to me stumbling back into my home at about 4:30 in the morning, slightly drink. Hey I'm 18, it's every now and then so I'm allowed!

I see a lot of stereotype-ish things on this site, sometimes I laugh, sometimes I'm kind of offended! Ah Well! There are ones that talk about Abercrombie and Hollister that kind of make me frown.

Sorry to let the team down guys but...I am a bit of a Hollister fad! I'm the kind of girl that finds it very hard to resist the perfume and smiling faces and incredibly attractive men that work there...Its a sickness, really! In fact I went in there today to pick up a gift voucher for my sister's birthday...and ended up buying a £20 top for myself...Sickness!!

So that's kind of about me...I don't bite, I'm an ok person, so don't be afraid of me!

MY CURRENT WRITING OBSESSIONS:

Bridgette and Geoff: Ah yes, My massive obsession at the moment, the young and happy Total Drama Series couple, I love then and have loved them since I watched my very first episode of Total Drama Island and saw them both on Bridgette's surfboard together. Cute!

They caught my eye and haven't left since, I don't know why but I adore them, and I think its so cute when they constantly make out, I'm a bit of a romantic so...

During Total Drama Island, they had my attention for the whole thing, every epiode they had a slight hint to where their erlationship was and I loved it! I was pretty annoyed when Bridgette left and they didn't let them kiss...seriously? You build me up waiting for sometihng like that and it doesn't happen? Jeez!

I suppose I could breath easy when Geoff was kicked off and they were at Playa Des Losers, and then they kised...alot!

Something that wound me up was Total Drama Action, they were kicked off so early and then they buggered over Geoff's personality! Why ruin things for me! I mean, yes they are good at doing the Aftermath, but at the same time Geoff isn't a showbanistic freak! He's kind and gentle...and slightly dim which might have caused this little change of personality, I have a FanFiction in the makes about his little change, which should be pretty good!

Total Drama World Tour, well I wasn't happy that Geoff wasn't in it and then things got back when Bridgette kissed Alejandro, still what made me happy is that they stayed together through this, because they love each other that much, nothing in that season was too big for them to overcome, now you can't say that about Duncan/Courtney or Trent/Gwen...can you?

I would love to see more Bridgette/Geoff fics on this website, why? Because there is so much deapth to them than people see, they're not all just about making out, look behind that and you'll see the reason why they do that.

Because they're in love!
