Author has written 28 stories for Yu-Gi-Oh, Last of the Mohicans, Chronicles of Narnia, and Batman Beyond. Update: Say Something is now complete! An end of an era, and a little bittersweet. I am now beginning work on Motorcycles and Museums...no idea yet when I will start posting. About me: I am a hopeless romantic and thus have a great many shippings that I support. Generally, I favor canonically-supported couples, though I've got a couple of crack pairings, and I like to randomly experiment every now and then. Right now, the main couples I favor and am writing for are: (Yu-gi-oh) Yugi x Tea (Peachshipping) Joey x Mai (Polarshipping) Tristan x Serenity (Ardentshipping) Raphael x Ishizu (Guardianshipping) I do like things other than romance, like non-romantic character development and exploration. But I like romance a lot, and so it'll show up in most of my writing. Right now, pretty much all my fanfiction energy is being directed into my multichapter story Say Something, which I attempt to update every weekend, with varying success. I also love reviews, so don't hesitate to leave one. Don't worry if you're "behind the curve" reading-wise or if you don't have anything profound to say. I love insightful comments, but I also just like to know that people are actually reading. Lately, I've been rediscovering my love for all things DCAU, especially Batman Beyond, and I'm slowly beginning work on a multichapter BB fic. While I'll read and enjoy a good Terry/Max or Terry/Melanie, I support Terry/Dana and that's what I write. I really hate the way Dana is vilified and made out to be a horrible, whiny person by many in the fandom, while she has perfectly legitimate reasons to be upset, and is actually far more patient than Terry has any right to expect. While I do wish she'd gotten more characterization in the series, I see Dana as a kind, caring, intelligent girl and that's how she'll be portrayed in my writing. On some more serious notes... A Fanfiction Manifesto: I am a Christian. I am a writer of fanfiction, but first and foremost, I am a Christian. That doesn't mean I only write about "church stuff" (haven't ever yet, actually), but it does mean that I'm writing things for a higher audience than the people of the Internet. I don't feel comfortable trying to directly mix in Christianity with the obvious Egyptian mythological system that is supposedly real in the YGO universe, or trying to foist my own convictions onto fictional characters who do not canonically share them, but I try to keep an Christian worldview present in what I write. I believe that the Bible clearly teaches that homosexuality is wrong, and I do not and will not either write or read slash or femmeslash. I also will not read stories featuring incest, explicit sexual content, or gratuitous, harsh profanity. My stories do not contain any incest, profanity, or sexual content (except for extremely mild content such as references to pregnancy or mentions of kissing). I don't expect everyone to agree with my stand or to change their stories to suit my standards. But in the morass of crass, crude fics that are little more than illicit fantasies, I want to let people know that there are still those with standards, and this author will stick by them. Internet safety: Human trafficking is a huge, horrific problem in today's society, one that effects every single country in the world. Sadly, the Internet has caused the problem to explode.
