To give you some frame of reference, I'm a girl in high school. I tend to become mildly obsessed with a particular fandom, regardless of whether or not I'm actually familiar with the canon, and then move on to whatever I run into next and eventually go back through previous obsessions when I lose patience with whatever else I've been reading. More or less current obsessions are Yu Yu Hakusho and FFVII, as well as crossovers between anything and everything, for some unknown reason. Prolonged exposure to anime/manga fandoms has rather predictably resulted in a weakness for yaoi.

I'm a reader. (Look at the name...) Yes, I have one story here, but my laptop and notebook are often neglected. I would much rather read what others have written than leave my daydream haze long enough to write my own stories. I rarely leave reviews just to say "this story is wonderful." If I like the story I'll continue on to the next chapter or look for more stories by that author. I review to point out things that confused me or didn't seem quite right, like typos and plot holes. Often I end up leaving reviews that are mostly half irrelevant questions about small points. That said, I don't try to edit every story I find that needs it. If the story is badly written, I move on to another without reviewing.
