FictionPress -- Raise the Devil

I've finally convinced myself, with the help from one incessant friend of mine as well as Galadriel's persuasions/coaxes to at least open an account on FictionPress. Currently, one multi-chapters story is in the making and maybe some random, spontaneous oneshots may sprout up. I'm mostly focusing on fanfictions at the moment though.

My Beta (and best friend) -- Galadriel Narmolanya

Anime annoys Galadriel, but she tends to tolerate some of them for my sake most of the time (laughs). Music makes up most of her life and she loves bands like Green Day, Avenged Sevenfold and Thrice. Tolkien is her Author-Hero and she works easiest with Harry Potter stuff. She also writes crossovers (Knights of Cydonia -Harry Potter x V for Vendetta-) and some originals that can be found on her FictionPress account. Calm and collected with one heck of a sarcastic bite when irritated, she is among the few people I trust without doubt in life.

Recommended Authors - Honestly, everyone on my 'Favourite Authors' list is recommended. However, there are some I recommend twice as much, if only because their writings not only draw me in, they inspire and they make me feel.

Pain au Chocolat, aka Fei-sama to some and radowan to LJ-users, has become a close online friend to me. Her writings always make me think twice because she has the gift of surprising people. When she writes a genre, she really expresses what they are supposed to. Her angsty dramas will make you feel as if the knife isn't twisting your heart, it's twisting your soul. Her romantic spins will make you have fantasies of fairytale prince and princesses. Her stories of bonds and bonding will make you wonder and dream. Of course, her humour and crack will make you blink in shock before bursting in laughter and admiration for such ingenuity. At least, all of that applies to me. (grins)

Kamerreon is another who has my respect and admiration. While I have only just discovered her stories, I can't stop reading them at all. Her beautiful tales have made me wept rivers of tears, made me smile in pure elation, threw me in storms of rage, lulled me into quiet hope. It's nearly conspiratorial of her how she baits, enraptures and traps her readers with flourishing words and deceptively intricate plots. She makes sense out of everything seemingly insane and strips normalcy from the seemingly ordinary. Indeed, she has talent where I lack, determination and hard work put in where I don't and I concede to that.

Inspirations/Prompts - I get inspirations from everywhere. Literally. Even my utmost random thoughts. No, not all of them are safe... Or sane, for that matter. Note that Music is my main inspiration because it can control me emotionally and sometimes affects how I write. (I'm doomed when my music is on shuffle. LOL.)

Requests - Open at the moment. Nothing novel length, though, or anything from fandoms I am not into. You can check my 'Likes' if there's a need to. You could give me the lot of details or you could just give me the most basic idea of what you want and let me work it out myself. Either way, feel free to make a request. I'm always willing to spin a tale.

Writing Genres - I usually write Angst or Dark (in which I would be lost as to how to classify it here...) while keeping away from Drama if possible (aka not likely at all). I write some Romance. Usually as a side genre or a slight touch in the fiction, or is vaguely mentioned. I'm trying my hands at Horror at the moment. I also write Friendship and Family. Basically, anything with the idea of a bond.

Slash or None? - Both, though I lean towards male slash, if you'd read most of my stories. It depends on the fandom, really.

Updates - My updates are NOT on a daily basis, so if you are a reader of my stories, I would appreciate it very much (very, very much) if you were patient, even though I know I'm a wench with my updates. Some of my plots are created as I go along, so there are certain difficulties when writing. If there's a long pause in updates, I'm either busy, procrastinating, having a writer's block or I've forgotten my plot line and am trying to remember it... or I'm just lazy. (hides from flying bricks)

Reviews - Personally, I do not care much for reviews. It's nice enough if you simply drop a note to say you enjoyed my story though. I vastly appreciate Constructive Criticism, however, because I believe I have a long way to go before I can truly be an author. Flames are DOUSED! Save the forests, save the Earth! (waves Green flag) Wait. I need my manga and my books... Damn. (troubled)

Revisions - I tend to not revise any of my earlier works, like Three Questions and My Protection; Promised to You, for experience reasons. I might someday, however. Perhaps when they have become old in my opinion.
