I've been lurking around fanfiction for quite some time now (like the fridge in Douglas Adams' The Long, Dark Tea-Time of the Soul), though I’ve never actually bothered to write anything before. I’ve read what is probably a very disturbing amount of fanfiction in my wanderings, not all of it good. Hopefully I won’t become a hypocrite with that last statement- perhaps that is also why I’ve not really written things.

I really don’t know what to say about myself here. I read a lot of books, though not so many since I became addicted to fanfiction. I read Tamora Pierce and Harry Potter fanfiction. I also watch and read anime and manga. Yu Yu Hakusho, Full Metal Alchemist (favorite anime- I don’t really like the manga as much), Detective Conan, Rurouni Kenshin, Naruto, and Hikaru no Go (favorite manga). Oh, and Drangonball Z.

I am a compulsive grammar freak. This is probably one of the reasons I have such a hard time with many fanfics. I can’t honestly say that it’s something I want to get over.
