Author has written 11 stories for Digimon, Mighty Ducks, Saiyuki, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Danny Phantom, Chronicles of Narnia, and Star Trek: 2009. Update, everyone! The fic has been taken down! YOU ARE ALL AMAZING. Thank you! I got a PM from Arjetluna, who tried to explain what happened, but I'm not entirely sure I followed. Regardless, it's been a learning experience. "Fame" and several other stories were pulled down with what I think was a deeper understanding of plagiarism and its effects on readers, writers, and fandom as a whole. Note: There is a very big difference between being inspired by an idea in one fandom to write your own story in a new fandom and adapting a story someone else wrote for a different fandom that you like. One of those is writing. The other one is plagiarism. Another note: If you have permission to use something, it isn't plagiarism anymore. It's something you have permission to do. Nuance! I am NOT leaving this site. I made that decision when I was very upset, and that's a terrible mindset for making big decisions. Several of you mentioned that you hoped I would stay, and not to let this ruin writing, and to not forget to be awesome, and you're all right. I won't distress-quit. You're amazing and I love you and I'm going to keep living here with you. Hurray! I am also still going to move everything over to An Archive Of Our Own, though. Their response to the plagiarism was swift and painless and I am still REALLY IMPRESSED by it! (FFdotnet, on the other hand, still hasn't gotten back to me, and now likely never will.)
