'Allo, lovelies. I'm Mali Steelwing. Call me Mali. How do you do?

My life is very simple. It is mine, and you really don't need to know more than what I am about to divulge.

1. I have an attitude. I am not sure if it's contagious; if it is, get a mask.

2. I am a pyromaniac. All flames are stored for use in my 'projects.'

3. I have a spectacular plot to take over the world.

4. I'm really not a people person. But sometimes I am. I am a contradiction. My adviser said so.

5. I'm nocturnal. Daylight bites.

6. I read. A lot. At least eight books Mon-Fri.; weekends tend to add another seven.

7. I am fully American, any dialect misunderstandings are because I speak very little Brit, and my Japanese is limited at the moment. Mostly I can curse. The important stuff, right?

I do not own any characters used in the works of fiction posted on this site. The ones I do own will be claimed accordingly, such as Meri, and Aki and Oracle. Ask if you would like to borrow them.

Here's a sneak peek at the newest tale eating my brain. It's a Sesshomaru/Kagome romance that hopefully, will be better than the rest of the crap I've tried to write. Enjoy!

When he was born, the moon blessed him with a crescent on his forehead, just as it had blessed his father and grandfather. It was a symbol of his impending strength and divine right to rule to Western Lands. “Rule well, Sesshomaru,” his father instructed.

When she was born, the moon was dark and the stars were hidden but for a single shot that streaked across the Tokyo skyline. Her father, opening the windows to soothe his weary wife, saw the star and made a single, life-changing wish. “I wish my Kagome could change the world.” The star winked in acknowledgement, and a strange lifepath was set for the tiny infant wriggling in her mother’s arms.
