Anyway... So, stuck in the house, hanging with my younger bro, that towers in height (seriously, at 5'2", I'm shorter than the lamps in my house), he introduces me to Inuyasha. (That night at work I was glomped and nearly hugged to death by a fellow co-worker when i informed her of my new intrest. Eh Ginta?) Shortly, I fell for Naruto (Shippuuden), FMA, Gundam Seed (Destiny), Bleach, Inuyasha, Gravitation, Death Note, Avatar, Vampire Knight, Loveless, Hellsing and a few others that I catch from time to time.

November 10th/ 2008: Good Morning everyone! Once again, I'm home, injured...stupid knee, and while I have MANY hours to spend in front of this computer, I've been kinda busy working on another project. Sadly, it's not a fanfiction, instead, it's actually (hopefully) something that I might one day be able to publish. Oh, that would be grand! With my friend as a manager of sorts, (she's trying, really...) I've been working on and off this story for some time now. But, don't think that I've abandoned you guys, 'cause I haven't! I really shouldn't say that it'll take longer for my updates to come out, seeing as I've been slacking and I do well to get a chapter out every 3 months, sad really, I think this is pretty much the outcome. I AM, however, nearly finished the 7th chapter for TSOC and that should be up in a few days, who knows, maybe sooner.

It's a bit difficult trying to keep up with my mind; it tends to run in it's own direction. I never know where it's gonna take me! Seriously, it was only a short while ago that I was watching the movie 'Hairspray', then I considered drawing another 'Sesshomaru' for a friend of mine, then I realized I hadn't checked for updateds on the 'Twilight' website, then I remembered something for my 'Candied Roses' story, and I thought of letting you guys know a bit of what's going on in my life. All this in a matter of minutes. Oh, I cooked a steak in there somewhere. LOL

Sigh, there it is though. I love you guys for sticking around as you have, you've made many days for me! BOOYAH! I'm still sticking in there, I promise!

August 5th - Whoo Hoo! I'm sooo back now! Yah, So, I spent the weekend in Moncton, went to the Backstreet Boys concert. Don't laugh! That concert has been 10 years in the making and my friend and I had a blast! I'm not sure how I managed to keep my voice, but I did! I just had a frog in my throat for a few days, that's all. LOL. Anyway, my friend's husband ( I'm still not used to that...lol) was able to fix my 'puter! YAY! (and to think I used to be crabby towards him...yah, he and I didn't get along very well when we met, although we've figured out that was because my friend and I both liked him and he liked her... Sad story made happy :oP...) So, point: I've been able to update Chappie 5 and 6 of TSOC and am working on the next! Hugs computer "How I missed thee"

May 26th - I am SOOOOO Sorry! I'm well aware that I haven't updated since janurary, how sad is that?!, but I still haven't been able to get my computer to work the way it should. I can't even burn CD's! So, I'll be calling the experts to come and fix my 'puter, but only after I can get my car back on the road. Priorties! GAH! Yah, 700.00 ish for the car, and more for the computer and I should be back to updating, well, at least when I'm able to, you'll get more than one chapter first thing! Cross your fingers for me 'kay!

(At least you know I haven't simply abandoned you guys, right!)

March 14th- Eh heh heh... Hi..., Okay, due to...uh, strange circumstances, my computer doesn't have the net, not yet anyway, and so I've been updating by burning the story chapter by chapter and loading them on this computer. Here's the thing, when I had my computer fixed, I lost my data burner and I haven't been able to find the original disk. Yeah. I have chapter five all ready to update, and no way to post it. (FRUSTRATING!) I am still looking and as soon as I find the damnable disk, you will have the next chapter, I promise!

February 21st- Aloha from the bitter cold eastern part of Canada! Okie, I'm very sorry I haven't updated 'The Scent of Cloves' in a while... but I was injured; yet again, my knee blew out. Yep, my knee cap decided to suddenly shift from it's proper resting place to the bottom of my knee, and then two weeks later, suddenly shift back. Oh yes, my brother, broad shouldered guy that he is, had to basically carry me in the house. So, one would think that being off work for 3 weeks would leave me plenty of time to write, but alas, my computer thought it would take a break and I had to take it to a dear friend of mine to wake it up. It just came home.

So, I just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten about this story and I will be in good writing conditions soon!

November 30th (few hours later) YAY!! I Finished LLPB!

November 30th - Howdy :o) ...okie, I know (Sheepish grin) that I should have uploaded the epilogue to LLPB a while ago, but I'm having some problems getting it from my computer to this one. If only life could be simple, eh?! Sometime within the next week it WILL be up! and then I can move on to another story bubbling and brewing in my mind (Yayness!)

On a sad note...yet another friend passed away a couple weeks ago of a car accident. This girl grew up next door and she made the 8th person from my grad class to pass away! I'm beginning to think we are cursed! Gah!

Last night, I also learned that my work place is going topsy turvy and I'll have to twist my schedule from nights to days. Not fun, I'm gonna be so tired! Meh... To me, that just means more people will be around to see me run into oven doors, slam my head into the dumpster, burn my neck with a pan from the oven, trip over my own feet... Oh yes...

August 27- First of all, any author capable of updating their stories every week, ugh! I just don't know how you do it!? (You all deserve rewards!) 'Cause, try as I might, I just get stuck, as I am right now. (Apparently i spend too much time second guessing every phrase :oP) Anyway... A heads-up to those wating patiently for the next chapter of LLPB, (I hug you!) It IS!! coming, but since I work 11pm-7am as a cashier, dealing with stupid drunks, run-amok kids and fending off/hiding from horney truck drivers all night...by morning i'm walking in circles saying "Give me my coffee, a smoke and my bed and no one get's hurt" Then, on weekends, I loose all internet access because my step dad is anal about sharing the computer. My point: In between sleeping, working, anal stepdad, walking 120lbs dog, disinfecting bloody kitten scratches and lil bro' stepping on my heels spouting off "read this"," watch this", "fix this" and "draw this", I sit at my lonely computer, coffee in hand and type like there's no tomorrow! So...don't give up on me!

Last March, my best friend of seven years passed away of a pain-killer overdose. We had lived together, dealt with grief together, worked together, and with her amazingly large crowd of friends stretching from one end of Canada to the other, I was her best friend. So, yeah, I had a very hard time dealing with her loss, still am actually, BUT, I am no longer a zombie! So, small 'Yay's' to me!

Anyway, I'm back into my writting, and editing my younger bro's story as well. (Ps. He's now a rusted blonde, for those that wanted to know what color hair dye he stole from me)

Reading- THE TWILIGHT SAGA! OMG! I am so hooked! GAH! historical Romances (Rosmary Rogers, Beatrice Small), Inuyasha & Naruto Fanfictions, The Harry Potter collection, The Vampire Academy collection as well as The Vampire Diaries.

Drawing- Mainly faeries and such, roses and Anime characters.

Writting - Short stories based on my past, Inuyasha and Naruto fanfics and I've been working on my own romance novels and stuff-n-stuff...

Zebra-print anything. Seriously.

Tarot: I dabble in Tarot card and Rune readings...

Um...there's much, much more, but I'll have to get back to you on that one...:op

'I won't say I'm in love' Sung by Meg from the movie 'Hercules', or 'Once upon a December' Sung by Anastasia, same titled movie. Then, of course, my other love... the song 'Paranoia' by Dope.

June 11th/09 - 'Amnesia' by Britney Spears and/or 'Indian Summer' by Brooks and Dunn. It all depends on my mood, but both make me smile and sing along. (Not that I don't sing along to almost everything anyway.) Plus I've been listening to a lot of music from nearly ten years ago... Ahhhh, Nostalgia.

Jan.15th/09 - I'd have to say 'White horse' by Taylor Swift is up there, but so is 'I caught myself' by Paramore. Seriously, Ooh, ooh, I can't forget 'Flightless bird, American mouth' by...uh, oh crap. I'll get back to you on that one, but I love that song so much, and it has special meaning to me now. (Happy sigh...)

Nov.10th/08 - Wow, the song 'Snuff' by 'Slipknot'!! Seriously, my ex played it for me and I was frozen in my spot until the song finished! Buuut, I'd also have to say 'Love Story' by Taylor Swift is awesome too. Yah, my tastes in music kinda vary. :oP

Drink: Chocolate milk, Iced Tea, Ice capps, strawberry smoothies, peach juice, and Vanilla pepsi, Oh...Tim Hortons ex. large coffee with 3 cream & 4 sugar. Mmmmmm. :op Oh, and my new addiction; Monster Green. Mmmm, gotta love all that caffeine!

Color: Olive green- like my eyes (Batts them prettily) :oP

Food: Chinese, Chicken ceasar wraps, Chicken Kiev!! and bbq chicken pizza.

Pastime: Spending time with my bestfriend Rockamora, singing off-key and jumping off the rocks/swimming at the falls in our clothes until we're so bruised from bouncing off the driftwood and rocks that we call in sick at work the next day. OMG I miss that, it's been two years and I haven't been back at the falls since her!

Least faves: Ugh, anything with 8 legs and 8 eyes, liars, users, heartbreakers, drug users, snobs.

Oh...Appearance: dark green eyes, Dark brown hair that while naturally curly, is worn straight more often than not. I'm really pale and tend to burn in the summer. In the sun, I freckle...badly. ( My mother used to say that my tan came in one piece at a time.) I look really innocent and sweet and apparently I have a very disarming smile...HAHAHA! If people only knew! I have a bubbly personality and love talking to people. Just. Don't. Make. Me. Mad.

Random things: Hmmm...

I never realized how entertaining Gummy bears could be until a friend of mine put on a show. A R:18 gummy bear puppet show. Yep.

A co-worker has dedicated the first hour of shift as 'Shani's story time'. No, seriously!

It is believed that I have more coffee than blood in my system. I'm inclined to agree. (Tips coffee cup)

Pizza makes me hyper.

I tend to pickup random accents depending on the accent of the person I'm talking to.

I've pierced my nose 13 times. You'd think I'd give up?!

My favorite pet was a cat named Snoochie Boochie. He once attacked a guy in my defense...and won. I laughed for hours.

I'm accident prone. Yep, I was made 'Safety Captain' at work because if there's a sharp object or something to trip over-I'll find it. Oh yes.

I like to pretend that I'm fluent in french. If only.

My best friend and I had a song dediated to Walmart.

I found a four week old kitten in the middle of a grain field and named her after a character in a fanfiction. LOL, seriously, when I first found her, she reminded me of that character. -->Update: That 'Kitten' is now a mommy of 5!! SO CUTE! So now I have 3 grey/black stripe, one grey/brown stripe with white paws and one that's entirely black (named Salem, creativly enough) running rampant through my house, knocking down garbages, scarring bare legs with tiny claws, chewing unsuspecting toes and squaking at all hours of the night! FUN! Anyone want one??
