Hey, I know, let's update this profile of mine! Welcome to my profile page on Fanfiction.net. My screen name is chapellefan, in tribute to the not late Dave Chapelle. I write Fanfiction, one-shots mostly, but at times, I get ambitious and write a long novel-like narrative. Let's get to know me, shall we? Name/Aliases: chapellefan, Burnouts3s3, Shippingr4losers (Yes, I'm a hypocrite. Who isn't?). Age: None of your business. I'd like to think my writing gives you a fair idea of how old I am. Nationality: One of many English speaking countries, good luck finding out. Hobbies/Interests: I'm a story nut. I go to the movies as often as I check out new anime. Each time, I try to take notes and study the anime in particular, seeing what's good or bad about it. And TRUST ME, I've seen some pretty awful stuff. I have a different opinion from others and I pride myself in that. Opinions on ships: Good if you can develop it. No crack ships, I hate those. I prefer Yuri over Yaoi just because. Mostly, I try to aim for the most canon ships in the manga and in the anime. Examples of acceptable ships: Goku/Chi-chi Krillin/18 Vegeta/Bulma and so on. Opinions on things I have seen and my view on them: Avatar: The Last Airbender: Despite fillery seasons, this is American animation at its best. Good decent plotting everyone can enjoy. Lots of Kung-fu. Very well written humor. Shame it has to end. Bleach: Good anime. Nice intergration of spanish themes. Great fights. Might want to think about arc repetition. Death Note: A wonderful mix of detective mystery, supernatural elements and dark humor. You will fall in love with such a great plotline, that you'll never want to turn back. It's adult in everyway, in the right way. Go see it. Dragonball Z: Screw you, I like the Funimation dub. I grew up with it. But yes, the original Japanese is much better in every aspect. But you don't get away from insulting my childhood. Kannazuki no Miko: People, admit it. Kannazuki no Miko's crap. It's crap and you like it. No, don't pay any attention to the fact that premise is underdeveloped or the fact that the girls fall under stereotypical roles so predictable, you want to hit yourself. No, just ignore the BS storytelling and watch the two girls kiss. Oh, and let's not forget the giant robots which are not only horribly out of place but don't do anything. Harry Potter: I like it. I admit I read it the wrong way. I was more focused on Quidditch matches and Harry's love life than I was with the whole 'Voldemort's War' thing. I know, I'm a terrible person. But at least I read the last one correctly. Mai Hime: The opposite of Kannazuki no Miko. Good character developement, actual intergration of Shoujo and Shonen plots, developed premise. And girls kissed. Now that's what we call 'good writing'. Naruto: Good setting, very aethestically pleasing, horrible character advancement. Most of the time, focus solely pays attention to Uchiha and his 'Let's get revenge on Itachi, or whatever nowadays.' Talk about Grand Theft Plot. One Piece: Oda's a mastermind. He knows how to create world and he knows how to plot. He makes everything unique and creates some of the greatest characters ever. Out of all the current Shounen animes, his is the best in animation and consistency. You insult his writing, and you will incur my wrath. Star Wars: George, take a break. You've done enough already. There's enough content in your original films to keep fans satisfied for decades. Please, don't ruin your career by continuing to make films. Just, take a break. The General rule for Fanfictions: Review. No seriously, do you know how hard it is to write something so with such passion and such effort that you want to almost die if you don't get any feedback from the audiences. Please, anything will suffice. 'It's good. It sucks.' Anything with a feedback will satsify my needs. Please, as a serious writer, you know how hard we work.
