I have several stories that I want to finish, that I NEED to finish! So, although I have idea's lurking in my head, I plan to complete everything that is half-finished before I start anything new. Current projects: Summer After It's the summer after the battle of Hogwarts. In the aftermath of Fred Weasley's death the Weasley family is badly broken. Percy is full of guilt over Freds death, George is a foul tempered ghost who refuses to leave his room, and Harry Potter blames himself for all of the pain around him. Ginny knows that Luna Lovegood has a gift for healing the pain of others, and so, she invites Luna to spend the summer at the Burrow. As Luna works her magic on the Weasley's their hearts slowly begin to mend...but when tragedy finds Luna, who will return the favor? (This story is on hold due to lack of inspiration) Beautiful Consequences II Lily Potter has always been perfect. A Prefect, head girl, straight O's on her owls, a Quidditchstar...more than anything else, she has always been daddy's little girl. Then, the summer before her seventh year she receives a letter informing her that the Tri-Wizard Tournament will be held at Bouxbatons Academy that year and she has been selected as part of the delegation to represent Hogwarts! But Harry and Ginny Potter remember only too well the night that Harry carried Cedric Diggory's body out of the maze at Hogwarts, and they refuse to give permission. Lily vows she is going to get back at them for this! And of course, her bubbly always up for a bit of troublemaking cousins, Georgie and Zz, are more than happy to help her get her revenge! Lucien Malfoyis nothing like his father or older brother Scorpius. He is definitely not like Lucius Malfoy, the Grandfather he openly loathes. Lucien gained self confidence in Vienna and a new man is returning to Hogwarts! On platform 9 3/4 Lily Potter gets a good look at the new Lucien Malfoyand decides she likes what she sees...a perfect way to get back at her parents for making her stay behind and miss her chance at the ultimate achievement! ! What could possibly irk her father more than his precious little girl dating the son of Draco Malfoy, once, his most hated rival? (This story is on hold due to lack of inspiration) Fred's Gift The night before the battle of Hogwarts, Fred and George Weasley visited Shell Cottage to attempt to talk sense into Harry, Ron and Hermione, instead, Fred ended up on the beach, drunk on firewhiskey, and gettingintimate with Luna Lovegood! Months after Fred's death, Luna is shocked to learn that she is carrying Fred's child. Luna...alone now with no home and no family, is in incredible pain, carrying around horrible scars from her imprisonment at Malfoy manor, afraid and ashamed of being an unwed mother to be. George Weasleyis angry and bitter. Blaming himself for not beingable to save Fred, he decides to do the next best thing...to take care of his late brothers child, and by default, the childs mother as well. Both are strong tempered, stubborn and hurting...a child is a gift, but will Fred's gift bring them together, or drive them further apart? Bonds of Blood Three years have passed since the end of the war. Life has gone on, for everybody, includingHarry's only living blood relatives, the Dursley's. After Petunia and Dudley witness a horrible wizard murder, Petunia insists that they pretend that nothing happened. But they are tracked by the killers and Vernon is murdered; and Petunia and Dudley find themselves once again in need of protection, this time from a new brand of death eaters who have banded behind a rising new evil leader; Bannister Holt. Harry is two weeks away from finally marrying Ginny when he is handed the assignment of protecting the blood relatives he hates. At Ginny's urging he reluctantly agrees to provide them shelter in the former home of his late Godfather Sirius Black. Forced to spend ten days in one anothers exclusive company, Harry and the Dursley's clash horribly, scabs are torn off old wounds, and tempers re-ignite...but in the end, all three will discover just how deep run the bonds of blood. Some things you should know about me I love writing, I love words, I love playing with words and I love Rumiko Takashasi and JK Rowlings characters. I have too much respect to take those characters and turn them into a bunch of circus freaks like I have seen others do. In fact, I have seen other fanfic writers do a lot of things that piss me off...things a respectable writer should never do, things I promise to never do. 1. I will never whore my stories for reviews. Let me clarify what whoring is, that is saying I need a certain amount of reviews before updating. I HATE that. And, it is against the rules. HOWEVER!! Obviously since there are still people who just don't get it, I guess I need to spell it out. If a story is not getting a decent amount of reviews I can only assume that there is no interest in the story. Hits don't count. Hits could be someone reading one line and then backing out. Unless readers review, I don't know if there is interest or not. If after a few chapters I don't see interest I will make mention that I am concidering pulling it. I do this as a COURTESY, not as a ploy to gain more reviews and anyone who doesn't believe me can kiss my ...well, you know where. I work too hard on chapters to have them be ignored. 2. I will never deliberately withhold updates to make my readers beg for them. I will update a current story as soon as I have one ready. I've been challenged on this one a couple times, so let me clarify. Withholding updates, and saying I am going to pull a story unless I start getting reviews are two TOTALLY different things. Hit's are NOT an accurate measure of readers. A hit could be someone who clicked in, read one word, and left. Reviews are the ONLY way we writers have of knowing how people feel about our work. 3. I will never act put out by reader requests for updates. 4. I will never act like I am doing the readers a big favor my posting my work for them to read. (get a big head) 5. I will never react rudely to respectful criticism. Just a little note here...if your not signed in, or don't leave a valid e-mail...and you slam me...that is NOT respectful criticism. I should have a right to argue my side. Also, nitpicking over obvious typos...yeah, not respectful criticism. In exchange though...I do request a couple things... 1. Remember I am human, have a life and occasionally suffer from writers block so updates might occasionally be slow. 2. Please never ask me for Yaoi/Yuri pairings PARTICULARLY INCEST YAOI OR YURI...that kind of thing really bothers me as an incest survivor. It is sick and disgusting and I have nothing but contempt for the people who write and read that crap. I also think it is disrespectful to Rumiko Takahashi and JK Rowling to so severely alter the characters she has created. In that same respect, please do not ask for Rin/Sesshomaru because I feel theirs is a father/daughter relationship. 3. IF YOUR C2 LISTS INCEST YAOI/YURI PAIRINGS PLEASE DO NOT LIST MY STORIES WITH THEM!! Given my strong feelings on the matter I do not wish to be on the same lists that condone that kind of dysfunctional and sick behavior. 4. Please do not make threatening reviews, my daughter reads these things and she has a disability that makes her oversensitive to things...she doesnt understand that someone is just being goofy. | |||||||||||
