Hi, I'm Cowabunga, your average teenage girl from England. I've been part of this site for several years and I have to admit that its got me hooked! I haven't written anything for quite a while but I love to read Harry Potter fics, which is mostly what I do to entertain myself on this site - and some of the stories are certainly entertaining!

I read A LOT, and I'm afraid I'm really so sad that I would say it is my favourite hobby, but I love to watch a good film too, as well as going out with my mates. There's not a whole lot I can say about myself other than that I'm a nerdy kid who actually quite enjoys school (at least when I'm learning things other than maths and science - I just can't get my head around them!) and I'm not very sporty at all - although I like to swim.

The last 5 books I have read: The City of Dreaming Books by Walter Moers, Momo by Michael Ende, Exodus by Julie Bertagna, The Welsh Girl by Peter Ho Davies and the book I am currently reading, Atonement by Ian McEwan. All of these are brilliant books (Momo is beautiful with some brilliant little morals at the end - a real 'feel good' story, and I'm absolutely adoring Atonment at the mo!) and from a range of genres, so if you're stuck looking for something to read then pop down to your local library and give them a go!

17/04/09 - This is just an apology to any authors whom I may have offended due to the removal of their stories from my favourites list. Thay can be assured that nothing personal is meant by this and they should not feel insulted. The reason I have done this is that I have found my favourites list has become too long and laborious to wade through and doesn't accurately show the type of stories I prefer to read. Therefore, I have gone through and removed some of the older additions which I haven't looked at for some time and don't believe I will intend to in the near future. I know my list is still ridiculously long, but I am now trying to be more selective when I choose which stories will become a part of this list. Thank you for reading.

30/04/09 - I am in need of some help! I've recently remembered a scene from a fic I once read but I can't remember where it's from - it's been driving me crazy! I know the scene is of the part in the book when Aunt Muriel comes round for tea and bad-mouths Harry - and in this one Harry is actually present at the dinner - and he's dating Ginny - all of this I'm pretty certain - and Ginny gets really upset by something her aunt says about them both being alike ...
