Hi!
My name is Katharina. I'm from Germany and currently studying archaeology and anthropology.
I started writing FFs when I was about 14. At that time it was usually Star Trek Voyager (J/C) in German. And I'm not really proud of anything I wrote during that time.
A few years ago I started my own story based on the Star Trek universe. So far I never finished it because school and university got in the way and my Muse desided to leave me.
I published some of my work under the pen name Kate before, but not on FF.net.
Right now I'm working on a Stargate Atlantis FF. But since I don't have so much freetime, I don't know if I'll ever finish anything and I won't upload a story if there's a chance I'll never finish it. I just don't think it's fair to people who read it.
I'd love to write something about Joss Whedon's Firefly, but I don't think I'm good enough to do so. I don't have an idea in the first place and even if I had one I don't think that I could reach a level of narrating which would satisfy me. I'll just never be as awesome as Joss. ;-) That's why I don't try.
What else can I tell you? I think it's obvious by now that I like Star Trek (especially Voyager) and Stargate: Atlantis and I totally LOVE Firefly. Besides that I like Star Wars and some other SF tv shows. I stopped watching a lot of tv since the tv programm in Germany usually sucks and I think I can use the time I don't need to work for university for better things than watching stupid "reality"-shows or movies which have been on tv for years. The only shows which I watch from time to time theese days are Without a Trace, NavyCIS and CSI: New York.
Oh and by the way... since English is not my native language I don't mind if people correct anything I wrote. On the contrary. I cannot improve without the help of people who tell me what I did wrong. ;-)
