Hey, I'm fang_shinobi at your service! My name is Paulie, just your ordinary Naruto-addicted teen, once a science scholar, now a college student in the most radical/leftist/derelict, um, ahem, I mean, the premier university of the country.

I'm Filipino, brown-skinned and all. I'm a total weirdo and I have this OCD that involves obsessively checking my work for typos, critiquing others' works, ordering my sentences in just the right way, etc...

I have loved anime for the longest time, but currently don't watch much since I have converted to manga, my most favorite of which are Naruto, Nana, Bakuman, Fairy Tail, Beelzebub, Black Lagoon, Shin Angyo Onshi, Gunslinger Girl, Fairy Tail, Ludwig Kakumei, Die and Angel Sanctuary. I am a serious Naruto otaku (and Masashi Kishimoto idolizer), and that doesn't mean I'm dumb, or that the series is retarded, but because I can go crazy over it. I love it, and there's nothing you can do to change my mind.

I'm a Gaiaonline resident (an '05-er), and my username is pau-san (The Fang Shinobi and fang_shinobi are my accounts too, but the latter is out of use for some reason). I'm also a Roliana user, so add me, I'm also fang_shinobi there.

I've taken an interest in cosplaying, but mostly, I'm just a fan. I love how there are awesome Filipino cosplayers... hope to see them in conventions (I've only attended one so far)...

I hate the Naruto anime and movies to some degree. As if the anime wasn't horrendous enough in its inability to portray the manga's awesomeness, they also add some awful scenes (that really diverge from the plot of the manga and the characters' personality development) and equally awful filler episodes (Raiga was never meant to exist; what if they do reveal the true Seven Swordsmen of Mist?). Plus a lot of the characters looked awful. Ugh.

Did I mention that those freaks in the first movie who could manipulate ice, despite the fact that those capable of that skill all died prior to that, and Kakashi should not even be able to copy that jutsu, even with his Sharingan? He did, after all, state that he was not capable of copying another kenkai genkai (or a mixed element that requires on or some sort of unique skill for that matter)? And the lastest movie, the second Shippuuden movie, looked like a longer series episode with its horrendous art. Barf.

I only like the opening and ending songs though, and the audio in general. I don't like all the video accompanying them, though I'm in love with Michi and Broken Youth, both with the lyrics and the video.

EDIT (August 29, 2009): What the hell?! Why has no one told me that the most recent Naruto Shippuuden episodes are so damn awesome?! Why has no one told me?! I want to waaaaaaaaaatch...

EDIT (October 10, 2009): (Happy birthday, Naruto!) The Kakashi Gaiden looked awesome, and so did some of the new episodes. But I downloaded 128 recently, and it sucked really bad. Why, oh, why? Just pick one awesome contractor, please!

Favorite Pairings: ShikamaruTemari, NarutoHinata, SasukeSakura, InoSai, KarinSuigetsu… I'd pretty much read any pairing as long as the writing's cool... Gimme crack and I'll read it!

Favorite Books and Authors: A Time to Kill, The Chamber, The Firm, Skipping Christmas by John Grisham (and some of his other works I may have forgotten to mention; damn, I am so restricted to Grisham; I need to read more books!), Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden (WAAAAY before the movie), The Host by Stephenie Meyer (not the best book EVER, but better than the Twilight series)

Favorite Naruto Characters: Naruto, Shikamaru, Kiba, Minato, Hinata, Hidan and Suigetsu (though in truth, I love quite a number of characters such as Sai, Sasuke, Sakura, Temari, Kimimaro, Kakashi, Orochimaru, Haku, Zabuza, Sasori, Asuma, and even just now Itachi!, etc...)
