Author has written 53 stories for Fire Emblem, Golden Sun, Dynasty Warriors, MÄR, Startropics, Yu Yu Hakusho, Misc. Plays/Musicals, Clannad, Pokemon, and Star Ocean. Welcome, dear readers! You may call me Aqua, or Scott, whatever you prefer. I doubt 'Scott' is often used by girls, so you can safely assume that I am a boy. I am a college student, hence, my update schedule is unpredictable. It can take days, weeks, or even a month. I usually don't take too long for a fic, though to be honest some fics do take me longer than normal to update. Blame Writers Block, or computer lag, or even carpal tunnel, if you will And yes, I know that many of my fics have had cavalry spelt as 'calvary' earlier in their chapters. He is a Chinese Culture and History fanatic, a Fire Emblem fanboy, an incurable bookworm, and a general History, Culture, Video Game, and Anime geek. I really have no right to say anything else.) 1/26/09: It's Chinese New Year, but I'm stuck in a place where all the Chinese restaurants look at me funny if I speak Chinese. Sigh. 3/1/09: Again, I am another year older... And I'm scared because this is a critical year... God, what I have done for the past few decades? But, psh, I shouldn't think of such gloomy thoughts. 3/8/09: So I look at the poll results from that poll I've kept on this site for forever, and, whadda know, two people totally hate my writing. Ha ha. That's awesome. I was expecting more over the last two years, but with only two of those results and one "null" 'I'm Awesome' result, I decided to close and delete that old poll. It wasn't of much help, as I admittedly didn't really follow that advice over time (since most people wanted Description and I'm sure as hell too lazy to oblige.) Thanks, everyone, for voting! 3/17/09: I deleted my old poll because I felt that it was pointless, but your voices have been heard. I am currently writing several new Dynasty Warriors fics, but I might very well add another Fire Emblem fic since 2 out of 3 voted for FE. The person who voted for DW, well, your vote was prophetic. Thanks for voting, you all! 6/1/09: Wow, long time no update. Well, I've gotten the results back from that earlier poll, and I'm wondering why half of you haven't flamed me yet for not expressing Ike/Elincia. The Elincia/Geoffrey pairing is still strong so that's no surprise... But my absolute favorite pairing (you DW fans should know what that is) only got one vote. Sigh. At any rate, I'll see what I can do to swallow my Ike/Elincia hate and write a oneshot on their behalf. It'll be good practice, I'll bet. 6/10/09: Looking back at the Clannad section, I feel a bit outgunned. Mainly because 'Moves' is sorta getting dull for me (which is obviously a bad sign), and that's mainly because I can't really think of how Tomoya has never given a damn about Kyou but will suddenly try dating her. Perhaps I should make him want to make a rebound because Nagisa is gone? Meh. At any rate I hope people won't treat the Youhei/Kyou idea too harshly. He's an idiot but he'll be good to her. 6/14/09: Readers, I have decided to delete Moves. I no longer have any interest in writing Clannad fanfics. Reviewing is a maybe, and future reviews may very well refer to the Kyou OVA, but new fics, and updates for moves, are a no. I apologize. 7/14/09: Readers, I didn't want to reveal this, but basically my Laptop's Hard Drive broke in February (stupid Hitachi, stick with making pots you workers of fail), and thus I lost much of my story data. As you can see, I was able to revive most of my fics, but Aqua Crest: The Holy Pebbles failed to bounce back. I had intended to make Selena a protagonist (moreso than she already is, at least) and playable instead of a tragic "enemy" who dies (and it was going to be humorous in that Duessel was going to knock her unconscious and drag her to base), but all my notes and the rest of the story was destroyed. Thus, I have removed that story from the site and it is canceled, like Moves above. I'm sorry, but that's how life is, eh? 7/19/09: Extraneous information in profile removed for great justice. Additional edits may appear from time to time. 7/26/09: Lol. So I guess you guys found my most recent poll mostly stupid. Well, it was meant to be stupid, and humorous, and totally random. Apparently people think that Teddy Roosevelt and Chuck Norris could tie in a Sock Eating Tournament while people like Woodrow Wilson and Mr. T would fail. I voted for Ma Chao, personally, but that's just because I think the guy would do random things if it related to his pride as a man. Lu Bu would probably do it as well, but I think Ma Chao would be a far bigger eater. Anyways, I've recently completed a playthrough of Ar Tonelico 2: Melody of Metafallica, and I'm hooked. The friend who let me borrow the game also lent me Suikoden V (read the plot already, so I'm too lazy to follow through), and Star Ocean 3. Fayt and Maria are adorable together, and I may very well write a fanfic for that couple. So, with all that said, you can stay tuned for a few new fics before the final march of Dynasty Warrior fics. Snowy Eyebrows will be updated, but it will be a short fic as I can't come up with sufficient ideas for a non-violent, political fic of that nature, since I realize that I'm far too naive to understand politics fully. 8/1/09: Snowy Eyebrows is taking forever, and my path in life is about to get hit by one major earthquake... I might update soon, or I might update in a long while, but I will update eventually. Of that you can be sure. 8/13/09: The earthquake of my life has subsided somewhat, and as you can see I've updated a bit. More updates will come when they will, and I swear to keep Snowy Eyebrows somehow within its original intent. Unfortunately it seems that a biography for Jiang Wan would have fit the fic's original intent far better. Ma Liang's tale (historically wise) is too depressing and there isn't much ground to put in. 8/26/09: Star Ocean fans, your request has been answered. I wrote that Star Ocean fic as a humor fic because though I like Star Ocean 3 as a game quite a bit, I just can't take the characters seriously at the moment, don't know why. Don't worry, it's FaytXMaria. As for the Cowboy Bebop request, I really want to do a fic but give me some time. And the Toradora! request, well, No, Just No. I have no ideas on the moment and I don't plan to spend time on that series. Thanks for voting! 9/1/09: Guess I still have much to learn on the Chinese front, though admittedly poetry was never my strong point in any language. 念奴娇 (Nian nu jiao) is not an old tune called "The Slave Girl," but instead it is a style/format of poetry, kind of like iambic pentameter, except that this style is old and its direct translation is a Drabble of sorts. 念奴娇 is also known as 大江東去 (da jiang dong qu). Those of you who have seen the film Chi Bi would have heard this mentioned in the lyrics of the film's theme song. Guess you learn something new every day, huh? 10/26/09: Yes, readers, I know that the Snowy Eyebrows ending, especially the last line, was mediocre. Apparently I'm bad at keeping the pace with tragic endings. I guess I should try to not do tragedy, even if ROTK is full of it. I apologize. The reason why I'm suggesting this is because I read a fanfic which showcased all the problems that I saw in a Tomoya/Kyou long term relationship, and the same author wrote a Youhei/Kyou fic which really made me see how much they compliment each other.
