(no updates in over a year makes my friends sad; here resides a hefty chunk of jessi's heart&soul. please treat with care. ingredients: friends, my anti-drug: jenny (o', jenny, jenny, jenny, amazing, beautiful, smooth-talking jenny) who is fabulous in every possible way + a thousand others that i can't think of right now because i am just that stupid; you, my dear, are such a neat&tidy beta-er who knows just how to write the way people want to read. our epic/masterpiece will be just darling, i know, and don't worry, this language is somewhat sickening to me too but there's no way around it- it's the only way i can fit in enough adjectives to begin describing how coolcoolcool you are. mimi (namiba, nami, amidoamidoamido, aha! how i adore you so my frankly delightful bestestfriendever) who has decided that i am awesome for reasons unknown to me, but that doesn't matter; we've known each other sososososolong and you're still my friend and you don't know how happy that makes me, since i am so very glad to have known you all this time and to have had your continued support in my writing attempts. reni & kk (renirenirenireni and karkarkarkarkarkarkara, you are both so great my heart aches trying to fit you into this little parentheses set aside to describe you, so i won't) who have both endeavored to assure me that my writing isn't as bad as i know it to be but hey, friendsarefriendsarefriendsarefriends and who could have better friends than them? no one. liz (liza, lialialia, my dearest liz, wonderful lia) who offers me support and compliments- both which i don't deserve, especially from a person as lovely&darkly!humorous&sarcastic yet also just plain great as her. linda (linlinlinlinlin, for sure you can not be put down, as your sheer victory-ness gives you an automatic win) who has stuck by me these past few years and is an awesomeawesome buddy to have, truly. in conclusion, i am the luckiest person ever. i have: \ penultimately, no real creativity, for i leech, leech, and leech all my ideas from everywhere and then redo, reuse, redo, reuse, until everyone is weary of my same-old, same-old \ genuine female body parts; this is proven fact (i think) \ spanning, multi-fandom interests that cover just about everything and anything under my umbrella and over your rainbow \ sheer joyful, wacky craziness running through my veins- this leads me to test all sorts of things in my writing \ a million different parts of me that are all chock-full of little disorders, but hey. don't we all? i like to: / listen / write / beta / read / critique constructively / talk / make friends / smile / hug inecessantly / visit new places / eat / laugh / make to-do lists / learn / practice languages&instruments / explore / design / create / be me stuff-to-know : i do, indeed, take requests, usually. however, be warned that my characterization flutters, my grammar drifts depending on where the story wants it to go, my schedule is very restraining and so fics could be months late, and i have a tendency to only pour out drabble/one-shot original-fics because i have no will/inspiration for much else. : i simply love beta-ing and wouldn't hesitate to help you untangle your fic until it shines like the story you wanted it to be in the first place but couldn't quite get it to be. : i am also rather fond of collaborating on fics, although this is usually only reserved for people i know pretty well and whose writing skills i am sure in; on the other hand, i'd be glad to help beta if collaborating doesn't work out! : constructive criticism is wonderfulwonderfulwonderful and gets squee'ed over for days. : reviews in general are absolutely adored and fawned over because remember- as the author, i don't know that you're reading it, that you love the story, that you hate the story, that you have something you want me to fix in the story, until you tell me so (even if you take the easy way out and anonymously comment on one of my LJs, i'll still love you to bits). works-in-progress .
