Let's try this again...maybe some of you are actually reading this are actually wondering about me. Sometimes I like to read profiles too. Random facts about me:
-Degrassi related: I'm team Craig. I heard about When Doves Cry from my brother way back during Season 2 and I knew I'd love it. I can actually remember that I saw Drive first and that final Craig/Joey scene was such a tease. Craig the rockstar can be hard to enjoy but I still stay loyal to him, hoping for more angst. So who do I prefer Craig with? Why Ashley of course! I actually run The Angsty Artists Online in support for them. They really touch my inner fan girl in a way no other couple can, so there's no grocery sized list of ships here. Oh, Craig/Sean gets an honorable mention though. Runner up: Sean and Ellie. Ah hell, I don't really mind Craig and Ellie either, although I would have had them play out much differently in Season 5 (1. No band. I don't think they would need it; I think that like Craig and Ashley, the two would interact at some point. 2. We get to see the friendship and Ellie's crush blossom). Yup, I love the ACES.
-I basically only read Craig fanfics these days.Of course I'll go for Crash but it doesn't make me as click happy as seeing a Season 2 Craig fanfic. It never gets old. I guess that makes me a little strange. Oh and I love Craig slash fics. I'm waiting for some Craig/Skinny! You know who you are=)
-I went to art college, majored in fine arts, did my senior thesis on somatic memory, and graduated. And now? I'm a little lost at the moment. Anxiety has been a long term struggle for me. Degrassi is a great distraction.
-Degrassi is really the only current TV show that I got into the habit of watching. Every once in awhile a TV show just sticks. Other teen dramas/comedies that I like: Freaks and Geeks, My So-Called Life, Beverly Hills 90210 (premiere to their senior year), Higher Ground, Swans Crossing, Fifteen. Yup, I'm one of the older Degrassi fans but not old enough to have caught the old school Degrassi. I've gotten into Skins lately. My other TV favorites include Roseanne, Six Feet Under, Frasier, and Top Chef. I really prefer to kick back and watch stuff that you'd find on Nick at Nite too. Top dog: Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
-My cat is the boss of my world.
-I love suspense/horror movies, but bring on the ghosts and ghouls and less on the gore. Surprised cause I wrote that Saw fanfic? I just really got into it the first time I saw it (which was about a month before I published that Degrassi/Saw crossover). My favorites are probably Session 9 and Carnival of Souls.
-Simon and Garfunkel's "Only Living Boy in New York" is my lullaby.
-Lately I've been attracted to Hugh Dillion, the guy that plays Craig's dad. I get this weird attraction to rocker men who freak me out some. See: Nick Cave, Henry Rollins.
-I just recently figured out fanfiction.net's private messaging system so me not replying to any messages before was cause I'm an idiot sometimes, not cause I didn't find you interesting.
