It was about 7 or 8 years ago that I stumbled upon the magical world of fan fiction. At the young age of 10 I found a web-site that offered a vast array of Sailor Moon fan fictions for fans - like me who did not wish the story to end when the seasons did.

It was three years later I found Fanfiction.net. Having a thirst for more amidst the breaks between the Harry Potter books an idea cam to me - what if there was more? Not just Sailor Moon stories, but Harry Potter too? The very idea left me giddy!

I searched the net for Harry Potter stories, to my dissapointment I found little. Eventually I was trawling through a fan-art page and saw a quote, I did not recognise it from the books, perhaps the artist made it up? Then a wonderful thing happened. A wonderful thing that changed my life and reading habits forever.

There was a link! A link to www.fanfiction.net upon clicking the beautiful blue phrase I was transported to a web-site full of wonder! I found my stories and more.

I am now 17 - almost 18 - and I read about 4 fan fictions a night. I have braved the corruption of the Internet and made myself an account on fan fiction.net against my mothers wishes. I have had it for about three years. I have a few stories - all but one Harry Potter- and enjoy writing when I have the time. Unfortunately school takes up most of my time. I do hope to get some writing done this summer. I do have until September after all. :D

Now about me-

I live in bonnie Scotland, so I am used to the rain. I have walked this earth for seventeen years, I try to read as much as possible because I think that to read is to know and to know is one of the greatest gifts given to humanity. I love music, playing it, singing it, listening to it! I once heard someone say that "...music is the language of the soul." I believe that. I love Photography. I have applied to study fine art photography at the Glasgow School of Art and I hope to travel the world one day. I have wonderful friends and we have wonderful times together.

I love gaming. My favorite games include - FFVII, FFX, FFXII, Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts 2, Guitar Hero, The Legend Of Zelda and Tombraider, pandimonium, Phoenix Wright, the sims, asssasins creed, burnout (with rachel lol) and Oblivion.

I love watching movies! L . O . V . E . Some of my faveorites are: Lord of the rings!! I love them!! All of them SOOOO much!! Spiderman 1, Spiderman 2, all the original Superman films, Superman Returns, the old Batmans, The dark Knight (Batman begins is interesting but is nothing compared to TDK) Final Fantasy Advent Children (Spirtits within is inpressive graphically -arn't they all, but I am not too impressed with the plot.) All disney Pixar especially finding Nemo! Lilo and stitch, The Lion King, Mulan, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Hercules, Tarzan and pretty much all the 'new' disney movies. I like The Leauge of extraordiary gentlemen, Hellboy and Hellboy 2 (Yes! Despite its weird plot I thought Hell boy is cool - the elf guy was awsome!! Like and evil cool Legolas :D) Harry Potter- even if I am now growing a tad bored with how long its taking to finish. I like fanfiction much better than the books or movies - Iron man is awsome! The ne Hulk movie is impressive and made up for its awful predissesors, Constantine is FABULOUS! The matirx is brilliant, Pan's Labrinth is odd, granted, but cool! I will stop here or I shall be here for years. Basically - I like movies O.K? :P

Books, books, where to start? Harry Potter I guess it was my major obsession for years but I have moved on to better things Lord of the Rings! I always both LOTR and HP but there was a constant debate in my mind to which was better - what can I say? I was yong and foolish. Caught up in the hype of the times. Now however I can quite calmly state with no hesitation that Lord of the Rings kicks Harry Potter's butt!!David Eddings is a wonderful author! The Belgarid and Malloren will always stay close to my heart. I will read them regularly for the rest of my life. Neil Gaiman is worht a mention too. I have only read Neverwhere so far (both book and graphic novel) but I enjoyed it emmensly I am currently reading the graphic novel 1602 which is reallllllllly cool too. I am also reading Legend by David Gemmel. I loved Jaquline Wilson and Sue Limb when I was youinger sadly, only in ecent years have I really started to read good novels and not teenage fiction drivel. However I will say that Gareth Nix is a wonderful read. Especially the Sabriel, Lirael, Abhorsen trilogy.

Manga and anime are close to my heart too. Naruto, Bleach, Fruits Basket, Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-gi-oh, D.Grey man, Chobits, Card captors, Sailor moon, Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles, Azumanga dioh, Full Metal Alchemist, Nana and Nabari no ou are just a few I have read and watched.

I would list my most beloved bands and mucisians but alas, it would actually take me hours. :P I will listen to most things. I would say pop-rock/punk/metal/Indie/folk/classical and then some. I will give a shout-out to Coldplay who I went to see in November and I LOVED! It was the best gig of my life so far, rivaled only by Muse and I know it may seem strange but it was a fabulous night.

I will conclude, else I be here for eternity. So alas, we come to the end of our journey together. This took me about an hour and a half to write, I wanted my readers - if I have any, to know a little about me.
