What is the strangest thing you ever did? My first bus ride I was going home across the city and the bus got in a crash and I was sitting in there chatting with a homeless man and a hooker. The strange thing is this: Through the whole thing I was holding a two pound stone fish.

View 1: I criticize my male god just as I would any person. And since I view him as a person I think he has faults; but to his credit he only has one fault whereas I have a million: God is selfish. I think most religions are sexist institutions that want me to believe that God wants me to change from who I am inside. God created me as I am, and if he really does want to change me then I don't believe in him anymore; because if he wants to change me then he obviously doesn't believe in me.
View 2: When I think of God as a woman all of these scruples fall away, and I see her as a peaceful spirit who loves me for who I am (made my faults so she doesn't punish me for having them) and forgiving me for my self made issues, it is easier for me to imagine God as a woman, though its sometimes hard to "chase that old white man out of my head."
How do you personally define "Right" from "Wrong"? First: Whether or not I get an icky feeling inside. Second: what my logic tells me

There are all kinds of stories. Some are born with the telling; their substance is language, and before someone puts them into words they are but a hint of emotion, a caprice of mind, an image or an intangible recollection.

Vermilion
