NOTE

If you think you sent me an anonymous review on or before about March 18, 2012, please send it again. I didn't realize I had my anonymous reviews disabled before that date.

"Psycho Poems" had been set as complete after I wrote the one about the 1998 remake, but I changed it back to in-progress to accomodate a planned poem about the 2013 TV miniseries Bates Motel.

ABOUT ME

I am obsessed with everything Psycho. I have some stories about Norman Bates and the world of the Bates Motel... OK, most of them are actually still in my head, and I haven't written them... yet...

My first story on FanFiction was "The Return of the Hessian." I first uploaded it when I first joined at the end of 2006, but after my nearly 3-year hiatus, it was somehow missing from my account, and I had to re-upload it.

A series of crossover FanFics I started writing when I first joined this site, "One Wizard's History by Godric Baggins", is probably the most complicated, plot-wise. My story "Carols of Christmas: A Dickensian Tale", which I uploaded before "OWH", is actually supposed to be a spinoff of what will become parts two and three in the "OWH" series.

Some of my stories, such as "Peter Pan: A Retelling," I have cowritten with friends. In the cases of "Peter Pan: A Retelling", "The Hobbit: The Stuffed Animal Edition", and "The Hobbit: The Radio Spoof Edition" (with the exceptions of most of the commercials in the latter) that friend happens to be my sister.

There are two versions of The Hobbit that my sister and I cowrote, as previously stated. The first one I uploaded onto here, the radio version, was adapted from the stuffed animal stage musical version.

A note on my "Chem Is Try" spoof: Mr. Hall died from Lou Gherig's disease about 14 months after the story was written. Now I kinda regret writing it... Sorta... Almost... OK, not really.

A note on "After His Last Case": This story is set between "Loyalty, Part 2" and the start of Season 10 of Law and Order: Criminal Intent.

A note on completed stories: Go ahead and favorite them! Just don't sign up to get alerts for when they get updated... They're completed for a reason... They're COMPLETED! Enough ranting about that...

Please review my stories! The more the merrier!

BTW... I have constructive criticism issues. I like good reviews, but for some reason, I have trouble dealing with negative reviews... (Note: As of October 2011, I have Asperger's Syndrome, a high-functioning form of Autism. Basically Asperger's is social awkwardness, problems with understanding body language, emotional issues, and serious shyness. Anyways, people with Asperger's also like knowing what they do RIGHT instead of what they do WRONG. Good reviews please! Thank you!)

Please click on the link above to read my story production blog! I'd like comments and followers on there, too! Also, I'd appreciate it if you'd vote in the poll found above!

RANDOM COPY-AND-PASTE STUFF

Greetings to the fine folk that moderate our site.

Myself, along with many, have been writing and posting on your fine site for years now. Some of the better examples of up and coming writers out there are now suddenly finding some of the stories we've come to love at risk of being removed without the chance to even rectify our errors.

For some, that means the permanent loss of a story. While I don't have anything that I believe violates your terms of use, there are those out there that are never able to recover a story in its original form. This is something I find to be almost worthy of a legal action, as while we cannot claim ownership of a character, the stories are OURS and simply destroying them is something that is inexcusable.

It's quite easy to simply add an MA rating, additional filters or even a simple requirement for a free membership to read the stories presented here, and would cut down on hateful anonymous reviews and posts at the same time, so I have to question as to why such a thing, in all this time, simply wasn't added.

If you're worried about falsification of a registration, then have an appropriate disclaimer and then there can be no dispute, you took your steps and the PARENTS didn't monitor their children, if that is even your concern. If it is more of a personal view or desire then please at least let people know and give them a chance to remove a story that you and yours find offensive, most people on the site are actually rather cordial when it comes to such requests.

While I cannot say for sure if this letter will even reach those that may be willing to listen, of if it's more akin to a wide spectrum purge in preparation for something bigger, please understand that you are going to be looseing a LARGE number of your writers, and thus your income from a lack of readers if there is not some level of action taken to help with this situation.

For those that may agree with this, please feel free to sign on and send this to the support server, maybe we can get some movement on this.

If someone has autism, this can mean:

Their brain works differently than others'. They don't understand facial expressions and emotions, and have a hard time showing their own emotions. Other people’s emotions confuse and upset them.

They have some trouble understanding language and instruction...sometimes we have to talk to them like they are younger than they are. They often seem not to be listening to us when we talk to them.

Everything stresses them out (trying to look at people’s eyes, changes in routine and schedule, doing unfamiliar activities) and so they try to stop the stress by trying to be in control of EVERYTHING and EVERYONE around them. Sometimes they might seem rude or bad, but they are really just struggling to understand things around them.

Even their own family can have trouble helping them sometimes, but you can help by:
--talking to them using a calm voice
--not making fun of them or teasing them
--realizing that people do their best to help him be calm and do well
--making sure you have their attention before you tell them something

Some of the symptoms or effects of autism can be:
--normal teaching methods don't work
--inappropriate laughing and giggling
--crying or tantrum
--acts as if s/he is deaf
--no fear of real dangers
--is upset by changes in routine or other things
--spins objects or own body
--extreme distress for no known reason
--sustained odd play
--has trouble playing with peers
--not cuddly; might resist touch
--little or no eye contact
--seems standoffish
--inappropriate attachment to objects
--may have trouble understanding language
--sometimes seems overactive, sometimes overly quiet

Copy this into your profile if you know someone with autism, or if you just want to spread the awareness.

Take 3 minutes and try this...it will freak you out...BUT NO CHEATING!

This game has a funny/spooky outcome.

Don't read ahead...just do it in order! It's worth a try.

First..get a pen and paper. When you actually choose names, make sure it's people you actually know and go with your first instinct.

Scroll down one line at a time...and don't read ahead or you'll ruin it!

1. First, write the numbers 1 through 11 in a column.

2. Then, beside numbers 1 and 2, write down any two numbers you want.

3. Beside the 3 and 7, write down the names of members of the opposite sex.

4. Write anyone's name (like friends or family...) in the 4th, 5th, and 6th spots.

5. Write down four song titles in 8,9,10, and 11. (Go with your instincts!)

6. Finally, make a wish.

And now the key for the game...

1. You must tell (the number in space 2) people about this game.

2. The person in space 3 is the one that you love.

3. The person in 7 is one you like but can't work out.

4. You care most about the person you put in 4.

5. The person you name in number 5 is the one who knows you very well.

6. The person you name in 6 is your lucky star.

7. The song in 8 is the song that matches with the person in number 3.

8. The title in 9 is the song for the person in 7.

9. The tenth space is the song that tells you most about YOUR mind.

10. 11 is the song telling you how you feel about life

NOW...post this bulletin (don't reply) within the hour. IF you do, your wish will come true...

If you don't it will become the opposite.

xxx

Your One and Only Wish

Do it one by one, don't look ahead!

1. Write the name of a person of the opposite sex.

2. Which is your favorite color out of red, black, blue, green, yellow?

3. Your first initial?

4. Your month of birth?

5. Which color do you like more, black or white?

6. Name of a person of the same sex as yours.

7. Your favorite number?

8. Do you like California or Florida more?

9. Do you like the lake or the ocean more?

10. Write down a wish (a realistic one).

Are you done?

If so, scroll down

(don't cheat--)

2) Ebenezer Scrooge
3) Fred
4) The Ghost of Christmas Past
5) Jeanie Chance (my OC)
6) Bennett Mallard (my OC)
7) Little Fan
8) Belle Wilkins
9) Dick Wilkins
10) Sarah Wilkins
11) Nathan Clark (my OC)
12) Bob Cratchit
(1) Have you ever read a 6/11 fanfic before?

No. They're both my own characters in "Carols of Christmas" and I'd never make them a couple. I don't think they've ever met in that story.

(2) Is 4 hot? How Hot?

Oh, wow. I based my version of Christmas Past on Joel Grey in the 1999 version of A Christmas Carol... so... after seeing him in that one episode of Law and Order: Criminal Intent... I think the beginning of that episode scarred me mentally... TMI...

(3)What would happen if 12 and 8 started going out?

A lot of awkwardness.

(4)Do you recall any fics about 9?

No, I don't think so.

(5)Would 2 and 6 make a good couple?

No.

(6) 5/9 or 5/10?

No. Jeanie LONG died before 9 and 10 were born.

(7)What would happen if 7 walked in on 2 and 8 kissing?

Little Fan walking on Scrooge and Belle? She wouldn't mind because Scrooge and Belle were still a couple when Fan was alive.

(8)Make up a summary for a 3/10 fan fic.

Sarah Wilkins was the daughter of Ebenezer Scrooge's former fiancee and best friend. After her parents die, Scrooge's nephew, Fred, adopts her.

(9)Is there anything as a 1/8 Love story?

No, I don't think so.

(10)Suggest a title for a 7/12 hurt/comfort.

Fan's Spirit, Bob's Pain

(11) Does anyone on your friend list read 3?

Yes, Scooter12345.

(12)Does anyone on your friend list read or draw 11?

No.

(13)Would anyone on your friend's list write a 2/4/5?

No, I don't think so.

(14)What might ten scream at a great moment of passion?

I don't know. She's a kid in the story.

(15) If you wrote a song fic about 8 what song would you use?

I already used "In Dreams" from The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.

(16)If you wrote a 1/6/12, what would the warning be?

There wouldn't be a warning, since I never would write that.

(17)What would a good pick-up line for 10 to use on 2?

...Oh, yeah right. Like Sarah Wilkins would really try to pick up Scrooge, after Chapter 15 in "Carols of Christmas"...

(18)1 and 8 are in a happy relationship, until 5 runs off with 9. After 8 dumps 1 for 12, 6 gets upset and retalites by dating 12. Alone and brokenhearted, 1 travels in search of a friend. Finally, 1 meets 4 and 7. The three meet 10, who tells them to look for their love. 4 finds 3, 7 gets 11, but now 1 is stuck in a never ending love triangle with 2 and 6.

Marley and Belle are in a happy relationship, until Jeanie runs off with Dick Wilkins. After Belle dumps Marley for Bob Cratchit, Bennett gets upset and retalites by dating Bob Cratchit. Alone and brokenhearted, Marley travels in search of a friend. Finally, Marley meets The Ghost of Christmas Past and Little Fan. The three meet Sarah Wilkins, who tells them to look for their love. The Ghost of Christmas past finds Fred, Little Fan gets Nathan Clark, but now Marley is stuck in a never ending love triangle with Scrooge and Bennett.

Oh, wow.

(19) What would be the name of this?

There is no way this would ever be written so there would never be any need for a title...

(20) What would be the genre(s) be?

If I had to pick, I'd say Humor, hurt/comfort

(21) The End!! btw i set you up on a date with 1!

Things I have learned while writing fanfiction:

-The Microsoft Word Thesaurus is woefully inadequate

-I have a frightening amount of darkness in me

-Writing is an emotional process as well as a physical process.

-A good beta reader is hard to hold on to

-Sometimes you just have to throw it all away and start over

-Sometimes it comes out almost perfectly the first time

-A good title is important

-A good summary is more important than a good title

-Comedy is a lot harder than drama

-Few people comment

-Nobody comments on the things you expect to receive comments on.

-Ending a story is harder than starting one

-Chapter three is evil

-Collaboration is fun

-Sometimes the characters just do what they want

-I should probably have more than one chapter written before I start posting a story

-The holidays are fairly hectic

-My muse is easily distract... oooh! shiny!

-A bigger hammer is almost always a good idea

-More beta readers is a good thing

-Damn, it feels good to be a gangster

-You can never escape the politics

-Plot Bunnies are really cute from a distance but you really don't want to see 'em close up

-Just because you write the beginning and the end, it doesn't mean the middle will write itself

-Real life has its own agenda

-Giving in to pressure can be rewarding

-Batman makes everything funnier

-You don't get your stuff back just because she's a bitch.

-There's always more of the story that can be told.

-Sometimes you just need to take a break.

-The truth might be out there, but it's not labeled.

-Don't carry all your work around on one Jump Drive.

-Just because you do everything the right way doesn't mean you'll get what you want.

-nothing inspires writing like writing (though getting good feedback helps too.)

-a chapter is as long as it is.
