Author has written 27 stories for Stargate: SG-1, Sentinel, NCIS, Supernatural, and Stargate: Atlantis. I started writing fanfic because a friend suggested that I join a Sentinel e-mail list. As it happened, the list required dues every two months, so I had to write something. The more I wrote, the more I realized I quite enjoy writing. And I LOVE the feedback! I want to put a general thank you here for my various beta's (depending on the fandom). Thank you Nikki, Debbie Tripp, PunkyRabbit, Cassandra30, and Meg. Also, let me make a standard disclaimer here. I don't own anything you might recognize. No money is being made (as you could easily tell if you saw the beat up car I drive). The picture here is my drawing of Blair in danger... yet again. Most of what I write is Blair angst, so this picture seemed appropriate. This picture has been nominated in the 2009 LMFA awards for Gen Hand-drawn Art. Stories in the Lost and Found AU: The "Lost and Found" Series, as well as the stories "Lost" and "Found" were nominated in various categories in the 2008 Life My Fire Sentinel Fan Fiction Awards Contest. http://lmfa.diagonalfiction.com/index2.php "Lost" won honorable mention in both the "Gen-Short" and "Gen-AU" categories. And I won honorable mention in the "Best New Gen Author". Thank you, thank you, thank you, for all who voted for me. "Found" has again been nominated in the 2009 LMFA Contest for Gen AU and Gen Novel. Order of the Stories in this AU: "Lost" ("Lost" was actually written first, and was supposed to be a little one-shot AU for dues on a sentinel angst list, but it's taken on a life of it's own. It's from the POV of an original character and covers the same time period as the first part of Found, but concentrates more on Jimmy. It's not necessary to read this to enjoy the series, but it does add some depth to the original character who narrates it. Also, this could be read and enjoyed by itself, without reading the rest of the series). "Found" (This is really the first part of the series and is written from Blair's POV (as are the rest of the stories in the series. This could be read and enjoyed without reading the rest of the series). "Discovered" (While the rest of the stories in the series are angsty, this one is just a collection of changes in Blair's and Jimmy's lives that take place between two angsty stories). "Misplaced" Each story is a complete story and you can read each and enjoy even if you don't read the later stories. Reading the earlier stories first would probably be helpful, though. Other Sentinel Stories: "First Christmas Without Him" has been nominated in the 2009 LMFA for Gen Short. "Waiting" has been nominated for Gen Angst, Gen Case and Action, and Gen H/C. All of these are actually on the ballot. Voting will open September 15, 2009 if you'd like to go vote for your favorite stories (be they mine or someone else's). The link is: http://lmfa.diagonalfiction.com/index2.php. ("Devastated" was nominated too, but alas, it isn't on the ballot). Thanks to all those who nominated me. SG1 Stories: Two of my SG1 stories won awards in the 2009 Stargate Blue Moon Awards. "Vaccine" for the Daniel Jackson/Janet Frasier Ship Category and "Accidents Happen" in the General Audiences Angst Category. All of the winning and nominated stories are good reads, so go to http://www.moonsmusings.com/bluemoon. Other: I'm working on Numb3rs and NCIS stories, but I can't promise when they might be posted. The NCIS story is at least temporarily entitled "Man Down". The Numb3rs story is mostly just my Charlie muse yelling "HELP" and giving me some (but not enough) details as to what he needs help WITH. Blair tends to be my loudest muse, hence so many Sentinel stories. I'm currently in a contest called Last Fanfiction Writer Standing. We write NCIS stories in response to prompts and then people vote. The writer with the fewest number of points "goes home" and the rest keep going until there is one "Last Fanfiction Writer Standing." The link to go read the stories and to vote is: http://community.livejournal.com/ncis_lfws/ I'm also in an Atlantis version, found at http://community.livejournal.com/sga_lfws/. Go visit, read all the entries, vote, enjoy. Also, visit my livejournal at http://brynnh87.livejournal.com/ On to the stories: | |||||||||||
