Hello everybody, I'm Metal Chocobo.

About me… well, now I’m in college. Besides that I am a big hobbyist, that is I like reading, gaming, drawing, writing, carving, painting models, and putting together models. I also like tinkering around on the net, but so far I have found that I’m not very good with technology and can’t use a computer beyond the basics. I believe in science and think that logic can solve most problems. Finally, I have a six-year-old German Shepherd named Tucker, who misses me very much now that I’m at school.

I read and write in the Legend of Zelda and Kingdom Hearts fandoms. There simply isn't time for me to attach myself to anything else. I also do some drawing, but there isn't enough and it simply isn't good enough to warrant some sort of account to display to the world. My writing skills are much better than my drawing skills, but you can all judge that for yourself, or you could if I ever posted my drawings, so I guess you’ll just have to take my word for it.

Besides Zelda and Kingdom Hearts, I happen to like a variation of other things, I just don't read fanfiction on them. I am very deeply entrenched in the fantasy world and there simply isn’t any point to even think of listing off all the awesome books I’ve read over the years. I also tend to follow lots of different anime or manga series, so if you try talking to me about a series, I’ll have probably read it, or else I will get a hold of the series and read some of it before trying to respond.

I'm willing to read other pairings or other stories as long as they are well written. I abhor bad spelling and bad writing in stories, especially in my own. That is why I dream of having a team of rabid editors. Sadly that isn't currently the case. If there are any mistakes or inaccuracies in my writing, please point them out to me. I'm always willing to improve.

There are other pairings that I love for specific series, but since I don't read fanfiction surrounding them on a regular basis, I'm not going to list them.

1/5/10: It's my birthday! Have started working on chapter 23 of OA. Chapters 4 and 5 of OUaT need to be edited and I think my editor must have fled the country since I haven't heard from her since break started. Getting my wisdom teeth removed on the 7th, so I'll be outta commission for a little while. I was just forced into making a deviantART account, so I'll link this to that and vise versa as soon as I figure out how.

12/16/09: Posted chapter 3 of Once Upon a Time today. This will be the last thing from me for a while, since I'm starting finals now and I'll be a little pile of goo for a while after I'm done. See you guys (hopefully) in January.

11/30/09: Finally completed the nanowri challenge, so I'm available to correct/edit the work I created during the past month. Posted chapter 2 of the new story Once Upon a Time (chapter 1 was posted on 10/31/09) on Turkey Day, aka 11/26/09. OUaT is a Zelink fic with a major OC who would not have been included, but there is no corresponding character in the Zelda universe, so we're stuck with an OC.Personally I like the OC. You have been warned. Will probably post chapter 22 of Ordinary Adventures within the next week or so.

10/21/09: Posted chapter 21 of Ordinary Adventures on the 16th. So it's out there to be read. Other good news is that I've already started writing chapter 22 and I think it's shaping up nicely. Finally, and this is the most exciting thing, there is fanart of OA. Found it completely by surprise and you can find the super awesome drawing here. It was drawn by this person called "Kasi-no-Kitsune" and she has done an amazing job.

9/9/09: Good news! Despite the fact my body seems intent on killing me by mucus, I finally finished writing chapter 21 of OA! It still needs to be typed up and edited, but this is one great step today getting it posted.

5/30/09: I know I'm a bad bad author. I have no excuse for why I haven't gotten started on chapter 21 yet… oh wait my brain has finally recovered from finals and I'm lazy. Mostly lazy. Promise to start chapter 21 of Ordinary Adventures soon (hopefully today). At least I've gotten a bit farther on some other projects? Two Zelink fics are close to being done (they need editing).

5/1/09: Chapter 20 of OA was posted on 4/3. Chapter 21 won't be started until after my finals are over. In the mean time I'm working on several older ZeLink fics of which I hope one or two will be good enough to post. I'm also working on a Kingdom Hearts fic and I'm excited about. Here's hoping they'll get finished and posted soon.

3/19/09: Chapter 20 of OA was sent to an editor the other day and is hopefully being edited as we speak.

3/8/09: Chapter 20 of OA has been written and typed up. I think I'll still be adding some scenes to it as it is edited though, so don't expect it for a while. It should take me four months though like it took last time.

2/17/09: Chapter 19 of Ordinary Adventures was posted on the 15th after a very long wait. Chapter 20 has already been started, so it hopefully won't take months and months to update again.

1/24/09: Finished writing up chapter 19 of OA last night. Will have to get it edited now, but it should be posted soon.

1/16/09: Happy belated New Year's! I guess I haven't mentioned yet that I'm in the process of writing chapter 19 of Ordinary Adventures yet. Well, I'm in the process of writing chapter 19. I hope to finish writing within the next couple days, but then it'll need to be edited. I hope to get it up before February.

12/2/08: I am terribly sorry that I didn't manage to get it up until after break, but AAC is now posted (as of the first). So you can go and read that fun Zelda fic to your heart's content.

11/26/08: Hopefully AAC will be posted over Turkey break, in fact I can almost guarantee it. So expect an update soon.

11/18/08: I finished typing it up a couple of days ago, but I have yet to edit All About Chemistry. It will be edited soon and then I'll post it once I'm done. It will be soon.This may be the last thing I post until after finals are over, I've just got lots of work for a bit then I can start posting again.
