OK, so I've now decided to shorten my profile (hopefully) by just writing down about what I'm all about, though many of my friends would call me indescribable. I prefer to think of myself, as the master Billie Joe Armstrong put it (that's Green Day for those of you who couldn't tell), as a walking contradiction. I am the most scatter-brained/organized person you will ever meet. I'm the quiet observer who will just explode with her opinions on the issues. I'm sardonically-sweet and I'm the cutest thing that will just bite your head off!
I'm a huge anime lover and so are my friends; we are also the most insane people you will ever meet. I always say that my half-blond hair shows through so much more than it should (I have strawberry blond hair), but I'm largely busy and focused when it comes to school. I kind of have to be when I'm taking all honors/AP courses-- even my electives are honors!
Drama Queen/Go-With-The-Flow can describe me as well. Large Theater junkie and damn proud of it! I'm also laid-back with a touch of panic-filled moments concerning deadlines. Yep, that's the best way I can really describe myself: Walking Contradiction-- think over that fact. Oh yeah, and if it's anything mainstream, like rap or popular crap such as Abercrombie and Hollister, I hiss at it. (Literally; me and my friend Ember were in the mall and we walked by Hollister crosssing our fingers and hissing at the store.) And don't even get me started on some music "artists" (or who call themselves musicians...).
Oh! I just came up with this new theory here. I don't know if the same thing happens everywhere, but at my school it seems that whenever a prep has their birthday, they get a crapful of balloons, which I think is not only obnoxious, but ridiculous as well. Anyway, as I walked to my second period, I came up with this theory:
Kaoli's Prep Theory: "The size and/or number of balloons that a prep gets on their birthday is inversely proportional to the size of their intelligence." (Meaning: The more balloons or bigger the balloons they have, the dumber they are.)
I find this theory to sum up one bit of prep-culture quite well.
APOLOGY!! 8/15/08 I am so sorry to all my readers who have been waiting for months for me to get off my bum and update. I'm not giving up on my stories, trust me, it's just that real life comes in the way. I'm upset with myself actually that I've taken so long to update and the fact that school starts in a week and I never updated at all during the summer. My only excuse I guess is that real romance just gets in the way; my priorities are a bit different now. Fanfiction is now second to my boyfriend and my real life; everything's crucial in school right now and my boyfriend means the world to me. They come first. The fact that I'm actually updating my profile might be a sign that I'll quit being lazy hopefully... we shall see.
