Author has written 100 stories for Harry Potter, Final Fantasy VII, His Dark Materials, Digimon, Final Fantasy I-VI, Card Captor Sakura, Princess Diaries, Teen Titans, Artemis Fowl, Phantom of the Opera, Tin Man, and Twilight. More specifically, Medway in Kent, although that's not something I like to admit to! 20 Facts about Kat097 1. I'm currently training to be a Primary Teacher. It's hard work, but will be worth it! (I hope!) 2. I am a musical fanatic - nothing I like more than hopping on the train to London and taking in a show. I've seen Wicked, We Will Rock You, Phantom, Cats, Beauty and the Beast and the Woman in Black. It's an expensive addiction, but totally worth it! 3. I've written way too much. Although, I ignore anything written more than 2 years ago and I would ask you to do the same! I had no concept of character, plot or grammar. I only leave the stories up so that I can see how far I've progressed! 4. My fandoms are Phantom of the Opera, Harry Potter, Final Fantasy and Tin Man. Tin Man is my latest obsession. 5. I recently read Twilight, after much encouragement by friends. I... don't like to say that I enjoyed them. It's a weird situation, on the one hand I want so much to hate them because I KNOW they're pretty dire, but on the other hand they're incredibly readable. However, I find I enjoy reading Twilight Fanfiction more than the original books. 6. Rabid fans piss me off. This goes for any fandom. I hit the Phantom fandom at the peak of it's crazy and can't stand the rabidity. This not only goes for the teen girls who refuse to accept the ending of the plot, but also the snotty pre-movie fans who look down on anyone who ejoyed the 2004 film. Just let us come together and adore Erik in any form without the bitchiness! 7. I was incredibly surprised by the Twilight fandom. I was expecting immaturity, bitchiness, whining and the like. Instead I found incredible writers, well developed plots and supportive fans. Quite the shock! If I ever dare write a Twilight fic, I can only hope to be accepted into this accomodating fold! 8. My favourite TV shows are: Bones, A Town Called Eureka, Ugly Betty, ANTM, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Doctor Who, Torchwood. 9. I like to bake. My speciality is Carrot and Walnut Cake with a citrus buttercream filling. It's yummy! 10. I miss having free time to write - university is crazy busy and I'm trying so hard to get back into writing, especially 'Behind Closed Doors'. 11. I have three piercings. Both earlobes and one at the top of my left ear. 12. I work part time as a receptionist at a gym. It's a good job, I sit and drink lots of tea. 13. I love my dog. I ship firmly - Cain/DG, Brennan/Booth, Doctor/Rose, Glitch/Azkadellia and all Twilight canon couples EXCEPT Jacob/Renesmee - it's creepy and wrong. I take Edward/Bella and Jacob/Bella, but I prefer to read AU Twilight, cos I don't like reading about Edward OR Jacob being miserable, because I'm a sap. 15. I don't approve of people witholding chapters until they get reviews. Take the response you get and be happy. Nor should you EXPECT a certain number of reviews. I mean, sure, if you're getting a chapter traffic of 300 and only 4 reviews, then maybe ask people to leave a little feedback, but be reasonable. Write for yourself, not for reviews. 16. I am irrevocably in love with the following people: Oliver Tompsett, Gerard Butler, Michael Fassbender, Ramin Karimloo, David Tennant, James Marsters, James Marsden, David Boreanaz. The list grows every day. 17. My favourite comedian is Ross Noble. The man is little short of genius and I suggest you look him up immediately, especially his bit about the owl who requires tucking in. 18. My drink of choice is JD and Coke. I also indulge in Baileys, Archers and lemonade, Smirnoff Ice (red, not black) and a variety of fruity cocktails. 19. I don't like coffee, but love coffee flavoured things. 20. Until very recently I have not written sex scenes. My first venture into this was in 'Before the Worst'. I'm still not very confident in my ability to do this, but I'm getting braver every day! Lately I have been indulging in the creation of Tin Man music videos. It's an addictive hobby and my results can be seen below. They're listed in oldest to newest, and hopefully you can see how I've improved! I'll just say here: I do NOT take requests. I would love to be, but downloading the music can become expensive and making videos is fairly time consuming, plus a song that inspires one person may not inspire me.
