Hello to all my viewers looking at my profile page! I am Nefermaatkare (Egyptian for "Good is the truth, soul with light").

I am a college student who is a science major, with plans on taking post-graduate studies in the future.

"Yu-Gi-Oh!" happens to be one of my all time favorite manga/anime, but I suppose that was induced by the fact that when I was little, I was in love with the idea of mythological stories and ancient culture (especially the Egyptian one). So when I heard they Yu-Gi-Oh! was based on Egyptian culture, I adored the concept and became a fan for the series.

I happen to like writing fanfiction during my spare time, but out of all the stories that I have written, only one has been posted so far on this website. A lot of my earlier works were under the penname "maatkare" on the mediaminer website but I have since deleted those as they were not very good. But, I'm currently doing a lot of re-writing, so I hope to have new stuff posted soon.

I like any type of story, but I like romance a lot. I like reading stories on these pairings:

Atem-Mana (vaseshipping)/Yami Yugi-Mana (servantshipping)

Isis-Mahado (pleashipping)

Seto-Kisara (mizushipping)

Yugi Mutou-Tea Gardner Anzu Mazaki (peachshipping)

I also like reading stories about Atem (Yami Yugi) and Yugi Mutou, but usually, in cases such as these, I prefer stories that are in tems of brotherly love simply because it is more in canon with respect to the story.
