Making my poem look all messed up.

Oh, well.

I wrote it when I was... 13 or so.

I should probably take it down.

Shows no signs of moving

destiny!QUILL

Hold your quill inside your heart,
Let destiny mold this into art.
Which quill will follow your command?
The shimmering swan is in my hand.

Let slip the restless words of mind,
Of love, of hate, and hope confined.
Shape the delicate tines to curve
Beauteous silhouette preserved

Hollow, soak, dry, slit and snip,
To form the vessel of thoughts, the tip.
Feel the words run past the shaft
Pouring raw into the first draft.

The power of language within
Keeper of sanity, herein.
Blot the sorrow with ink and tears,
Coat the laughter with runny smears.

The plume is parched; dip again.
The quill will serve until the end.
Remanere, donec iste vivere,
Try again and smooth each error.

Unbridled fury, fire and ice –
He who writes must read twice.
Rain glides past your outstretched hands
The quill falls away in the sands

Fire avoids your reckless touch
Wind escapes your desperate clutch
Disheartened is the bold warrior
Feel what is written: anger, fear.

Pain and hate, Odium of Strife.
Peace and love, Blessing of Life.
Stand up again, on solid feet,
Face the day, never retreat.

The quill returns, write again,
Never stop – find the end.
Hold your quill inside your heart,
Change your destiny within this art.
