So... update was a bit out of left field, no? Watched the movie a couple weeks ago and wrote it. I was hoping to hold off on posting it until Document Manager decided to recognize spaces between stanzas, but noooo, it's still stubborn and makes me resort to inserting random periods.

A Lover Lost, A Brother Gained: Random oneshot that popped into my head after a dream. A dream that had absolutely NOTHING to do with the Sonic characters, or death for that matter. Really more of a Sonic/Shadow brotherly than either's relationship with Amy. I need to think of a shorter title.

Den Lille Pindsvin: Obviously one of my earlier works. A SonElise Little Mermaid adapt?... More because it was the first time I saw LM (yes, at the age of eighteen) than any support for the coupling. Considered deleting it, but hey, don't we all start somewhere? Read and see how I've changed.

Liberate: Apparently I find Amy Lee inspiring. Poem/songfic hybrid.

Captivate: Less songfic-y than the above. But still the product of listening to songs from Fallen.

Le Ombre de l'Opéra: Phantom of the Opera, modern Sonic style. Blaze as Christine, Silver as Raoul, Shadow as Phantom/Erik. And by modern, I mean no opera. Or white frilly dresses. XD. ALERT! Update may or may not occur soon in honor of brother's 17th b-day!

One in Eight Hundred: Yes, it's a drabble. I don't care what word count says, ellipses and hyphens are not words. If you count real words (i.e. has letters), there are a hundred. Microsoft Word said so. If you can't figure it out, look at the reviews, because other people have. Said other people have also suggested I expand it. Please see below :)

Falling For: While it was never explained to the player, "Sonic and the Secret Rings" heavily suggested that there was something between the two genies prior to the events of the game. The title has a double meaning; the phrase can be ended with either "him" or "it".

Naiveté: Oneshot about Cream and growing up. As in finding out that the world is not a happy place. Find it at http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4909788/18/The_Dark_Side_of_the_Hog. Won second place!

Like Daughter, Like Mother: Less about the former than the latter. We know nothing about the rest of Cream's family - father, grandparents, etc. My first thought? Teen pregnancy.

Tulips and Windmills: An extension of One in Eight Hundred. If you can't figure out that the drabble is about Down Syndrome after reading this one (or this profile for that matter), I have nothing to say to you. The title comes from a short essay (?) by Emily Perl Kingsley titled "Welcome to Holland." It's a really good read, and really short, too (http://www.our-kids.org/Archives/Holland.html)

God's Icy Wind Crucible: Trust me, you'd never look at "The Crucible" the same way again if you'd seen our play. As it is, don't judge too early just because you had a bad experience in English class. Six years after the trials, Betty meets Abigail again. About Betty because I was Betty, and will forever be Betty to the awesome theater people.

Capitulate Beauty and the Beast: Starting to notice a pattern in the names of my poems? Good. The utter resignation and despair of the Beast during the castle raid is heart-wrenching, yet still holds a sort of dark beauty for me, and this just sort of sprung out of that.
