Hey, my name is Chromde. (Omigawd! Really?) I have another account: Me And My God Complex, but that account is for FMA, while this one is for Naruto. I will be updating my stories on MAMGC, I've just hit a writer's block when it comes to FMA. I swear to sweet goodness I WILL UPDATE though. Okay, seriously. SERIOUSLY.

(cough) Enough of that . . . I'm what you'd call a loser. And maybe a bitch as well. I'm that person who spends an hour ranting about why Steve Kloves fails forever at life for having Hermione say, "if you want to get to Harry you'll have to go through us first", and then make a bunch of innapropriate comments and complete insult someone. I'm sort of mean that way. Don't be fooled though; underneath the mean I'm really a pretty sweet girl. For example, I don't leave mean reviews if I hate your story . . . just subtly mean ones or just plain old "interesting" or something.

I have plenty of things I love. I don't really hate on many things, though of course there are exceptions (Twilight, Eragon, Hannah Montana, I'm looking your way!) and I'm pretty damn tolerant to what I'll consider good. I see the awesome in everything. Or you could say I have horrible guilty pleasures. For example, if you actually bothered to go through my favourites, you'd see I actually have High School Musical stuff favourited . . . I love those movies. I have the DVDs, the soundtracks, a pen, a poster, underwear (?!) (I don't wear them, I just own them for teh lulz), waffles, wall stickers, stickers, pencil cases, notebooks, and a whole bunch of stuff that makes it seem like I love it obsessively. And really, I don't. But Troy and Gabriella are one of my ultimate canon OTPs (right up there with John Smith and Pocahontas) and I just love the sense of fun the movies have.

And even more disconcerting in my favourites would be Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew stories, because I love them soo soo soo soo much. Frank/Nancy should be married right now (and they're a half-canon OTP; in the Super Mysteries they made out twice!!) and Joe and Vanessa illicit all sorts of happy smiles from me (and love for Iola right away!) I know, I know, not exactly quality literature . . . but the boys are fun and Nancy is funny and the fanfiction are some of the best I've ever read (right up there with fanfiction for 'Mike' and 'Derek', whose real names are protected to hide my shame) because a lot of the authors are older people who genuinely love the series and write the boys and Nancy with a surprising amount of depth. Anyone who didn't cry during the scene in Ring of Destiny by Dawn wherein a feverish Joe sees his brother's spirit as Frank drowns elsewhere clearly has no soul. I know it sounds cheesy, but trust me. The boys's already canon love and adoration for each other is really played upon by these amazing people, who have created some of the solidest and most loving brothers in existence.

After those two, there's Harry Potter. I don't participate that much in the fandom -- honestly, they kind of scare me -- but I love love love love love love love this series more than anything else ever. I grew up with these books, though I won't say since when since I sort of don't want to date myself. These books have taught me so much, and I love Harry, Ron and Hermione into itty bitty little pieces. If I got a Hogwarts letter right now, I would have been out of here so fast that all you'd see is my dust. No words can even BEGIN to describe how much I love Harry Potter. You know the warm, tingly, kind of suffocating feeling you get in your heart when you think of someone you love? I get that every time I think about how much this series means to me. I was an emotional mess after the last book. ;_;

And most obviously of all, I am a HUGE Naruto fan. Naruto is my Harry Potter of the manga world. Sure, there are other series I will never get over; Hikaru no Go actually emotionally turmoiled me so much that after I learned that Sai left, I couldn't even read anymore because every. single. page. broke. my. heart. And on lighter notes, Kimi Wa Petto/Tramps Like Us is my favourite josei manga series ever. I also bum around things like Eyeshield 21 and Furuba. InuYasha was my first manga/anime series ever, so points for it, even though I don't associate with it anymore. And FMA was my first serious series for real for ever, the oldest one I still love, and it holds a very special place in my heart. But when it comes down to it . . . I love Naruto. I love love love it. The characters, the plots, the fights, the art, everything. The world that Masashi Kishimoto has built is like a second home for me. I can sink into it at any time, whether through the canon, or my own stories or through others, and it never fails to entertain me. Really, I could go on, but I won't. Let's just leave it at . . . I love Naruto.

There are plenty of other series I'm a fan of too; so many, in fact, that it would be difficult to list them all. I LOVE Supernatural; CSI, CSI:MIAMI and CSI:NY are always a favourite of mine, Law and Order: UK, most crime dramas . . . Goosebumps books, Sailor Moon, Deltora Quest TAMORA PIERCE YES AND A MILLION! I'm a fan of many things but I don't fail to love them all. :)

Now . . . pairings. Anyone who's been here before I renovated knows I ship a lot. As someone on FandomSecret once said, "I ship it. All of it." This is pretty much true for me. There's NoYay and IWillStubbornlyMaintainDefinedDom/SubRelationships of course, but I am generally pretty cool with it all. Even if I don't like it, I might still read it, because a good story is worth having to read Naruto bottom (which I sort of have a massive block against, which I really should get over) (it's probably from all the chick-with-a-dick stories that befall him whenever he bottoms, more by ratio than any other character, really.) There are of course pairings I just prefer over all others. For example, any story that features Neji. Neji is one of my all-time fave characters (funny story: I was telling my sister about this girl's profile on FF, and said "she's a huge Neji fan, you can tell" and my sister goes, "it must be your other account then!") and the Hyuuga make me smile like no other in stories. I'm thinking about making a list of recommended fanfiction, since I've read so many good Hyuuga ones and that leads to all the good-in-general stories.

Catch A Break: This is going to be a short, multi-chaptered fic (like, five chapters) that's a Sasuneji. WARNING. IT WILL BE PURE CRACK. NOTE!! This has been moved down here because my laptop crashed and I lost it all. :/ I will rewrite it though. I loved it far too much to let it disappear forever.

Hyuuga Baby, Hyuuga: This really should be a working title, but I sort of love it too much. Honestly, it's just me making an AU Neji's life absolutely miserable. He gets mugged. And forgets his shoes. And his late for work. Mundane, depressing things. Hee! Okay, there is a vague plot, but I am keeping that tightly to my chest.

A Guide To Being Strange: This a really long, multi-chaptered fic so inspired by This Is How A Heart Breaks that it's not even funny. I will definitely wait until Thumbtack is done before updating it, so it'll stay one-chaptered for like, many, many months.

Together in Separation: (Very tentative title.) The could be, should be Naruneji story from my poll. SUMMARY: In the foreseeable future, the world is set adrift by a plague of mutated humans, called zombies for their resemblance to this horror film creature. Among all the carnage, Uzumaki Naruto lives alone, abandoned by his friends, with only the zombies he kills to keep him company. One day, just as his supplies run low, a secretive, pale-eyed stranger with a twisted ankle shows up. Naruto realizes that the only way that his survival, and the survival of everyone, can be guaranteed is if he chooses to face a past he'd rather forget, and accept that all along, chaos was planned and executed by some of those closest to him.

AND IF MOVIE TRAILER-ESQUE SUMMARIES MAKE YOU CRINGE: Naruto has some SUPER SPECIAL SECRETS he many not even be aware of, Neji has a hidden agenda, and Sasuke gets his eye ripped out. And a lot of people die.
