Author has written 3 stories for Charmed. The picture is one I took of a street art thing that was just off Oxford Street. HELLO PEOPLE (that is if anyone wants to read it) If you are reading this then you probably want to know some stuff about me, either that or you have picked a very boring person to stalk and soon enough YOU WILL GO INSANE BELIEVE ME! NEWS I have a facebook you can check out Here You can add me if you want, but please write a short message explaining that you found me through fanfic, if there's nothing like that, then and friend requests will be deleted if I don't recognise the name. A word of warning: I can be very VERY long winded at times, especially when I'm talking to a bunch of strangers, so be prepared for a lot of reading if you undertake the task of going through my profile, thank you. I am 18 years old and can legally drink in the UK. "w00t" I live on a small island hardly connected to the rest of Europe called the United Kingdom, more specifically East London, Barking (in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham if anyone really wants to know) Weird stuff about me My birthday is March 31st 1990, and on my third birthday (31/03/93) during filming of one of my favourite films, Brandon Lee died (he was Bruce Lee's son). Also on one of my birthdays(my third I think) a UFO sighting happened in the UK which to this day is still unexplained. The reason behind my pen name is that I got an 'A' in my History GCSE on the whole and an 'A' (thats an 'A star', apparently the asterisk(sp?) on my computer doesn't work or FF.Net doesn't recognise it) in my History coursework which consisted of 8 essays, 5 about the Blitz in London in WW2 and 3 about Elvis Presley and his influence on American culture in 1956 and 1957, it took me over a year to hand all of it in and I put loads more effort than what I am used to putting into school work. The 1990 part is me being proud of the year I was born in. General likes/dislikes/obsessions of mine include: Black humour (the grim, bleak morbid kind which mainly British people seem to get.) This, for example is an idea of something which falls into that category: "Disasters like 7/7/05 carry with them some horrible negatives, i.e. 52 deaths, and 700 people being injured, not to mention the indescribable chaos for Transport for London and the commuters of the city. However, there is at least one positive. It wasn't until after the bombings happened that I was allowed to start using the Underground on my own... Do you reckon my parents could be trying to send some kind of message there?" If you got that, good for you. If you didn't, you have no sense of fun. If you're conflicted, just laugh anyway, it'll make me feel better. I also LOVE reading, watching films, going to the cinema, collecting films, (as of 23rd December 2007, I have 538 of them) generally enjoying film as an art form. History is also some what of an interest of mine, as well as current affairs and satire. TV's also a good thing to keep myself occupied with, when I'm not online I'll probably be watching that. Music is also something of great interest to me, especially rock and metal, although if anyone sends me something then I'll give it a go, regardless of genre, and if I hate it then I say so. Hmm, what else is there to my life? Self deprecation, that's probably one of my most often used defence mechanisms when dealing with people I'm not particularly comfortable with. Other than that I really don't know what to put here, so read further and if you still want to know more then by all means PM me, if not then no worries, just don't flame any of my work unnecessarily. SWEENEY TODD! I'VE FINALLY SEEN THAT FILM AND AM SO IN AWE OF TIM BURTON YOU CANNOT POSSIBLY UNDERSTAND UNLESS YOU FEEL PRECISELY THE SAME THING! I found a link to a site on Soul of Sorrow's page and found this, it's really freaky and I recommend that anyone visits www.colorquiz.com Here's what it said about me: Your existing situation - Physical illness, over-tension, or emotional distress have taken a severe toll. Her self-esteem has been reduced and now needs peaceful conditions and considerate treatment to permit recovery. Your Stress Sources - An existing situation or relationship is unsatisfactory, but she feels unable to change it to bring about the sense of belonging which she needs. Unwilling to expose her vulnerability, she therefore continues to resist this state of affairs, but feels dependent on the attachment. This not only depresses her. but makes her irritable and impatient, producing considerable restlessness and the urge to get away from the situation, either actually or, at least, mentally. Ability to concentrate may suffer. Your Restrained Characteristics - Willing to participate and to allow herself to become involved, but tries to fend off conflict and disturbance in order to reduce tension. The situation is preventing her from establishing herself, but she feels she must make the best of things as they are. Becomes distressed when her needs or desires are misunderstood and feels that she has no one to turn to or rely on. Egocentric and therefore quick to take offense. Your Desired Objective - Needs a change in her circumstances or in her relationships which will permit relief from stress. Seeking a solution which will open up new and better possibilities and allow hopes to be fulfilled. Your Actual Problem - Anxiety and restless dissatisfaction, either with circumstances or with unfulfilled emotional requirements, have produced stress. She feels misunderstood, disoriented, and unsettled. This drives her into a search for new conditions or relationships, in the hope that these might offer greater contentment and peace of mind. TV Shows I like Charmed (before series 7) Pairings: You should be aware before reading this that there may be comments here that some may disagree with. Chris/Bianca - They were born for each other. Piper/Leo - IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!! Paige/Kyle - They're meant to be. Phoebe/Cole - They were happy, he was good and their relationship was great before the source possessed him. Buffy The Vampire Slayer Sad they stopped making it but I was amazed with the last episode. Pairings: Buffy/Angel - I know its old but I like it. Xander/Anya - The perfect match. Willow/Tara - It just worked with them. Angel - It was so right to make a spin-off from Buffy and I am still mad at the WB for canceling it. Pairings: Angel/Cordelia - They would have been so cool together if they had been given the chance. Fred/Gunn - Worked together wonderfully. Books I like Harry Potter 1-7 I am completely obsessed with them, I can even tell you how many pages there are in each book, well, how many pages there are in my editions anyway, I've got the British paperback versions of books 1-5 and British hardback versions of books 6 and 7. I even lined up till midnight to get the 6th and 7th books when they came out, it was amazing! Frankenstein: The Modern Prometheus - Come on it's a literary classic, which I had to study in English and write an essay on which made up 20 percent of my GCSE English coursework grade and I'm very grateful for the experience as it was a thoroughly enjoyable read. Dracula - It was the book which introduced the vampire legend, which I have been fascinated with for years, to the Western world, however I don't think there are many films which did the book itself justice although there are a lot of great vampire films out there. As well as that it is one of very few books which has been around for over a century and is still in print is that an accomplishment for a book or what? The Narnia books by C.S. Lewis There doesn't need to be any explanation here, does there? His Dark Materials - Very interesting although it was, I felt, somewhat drawn out. Holes - In year 8, thats age 12-13, I studied this in school and it was so cool, I encourage anyone to read this book before watching the film though. Thats not to say that the film version was bad because it was actually one of the few films based on a book that did the book justice in my opinion) Cell by Stephen King. I'm not finished yet but its about people being infected by their mobile phones (or as they are referred to in the US Cell phones) and made completely insane, homicidal or suicidal, depending on what type of person you are. Really cool. And I can't wait to get my hands on a few more of Stephen King's books as soon as possible, I need something to scare me and the film version of Pet Cemetery actually did scare me so I'm infected with the need to read, lol. Maximum Ride - Finished them and I just love these books, although it fills you with such a need to read the next one it's almost scary, I'm just grateful I had the next one already, phew, that could have been ugly. Shakespearian Plays - I know his language is pretty hard to get but when studying him in English I thought he was cool, I also know how sad and nerdy that sounds but the story lines to his plays are still used today, that has to count for something, right? Frankenstein - I'm reading it at the moment, it's awesome, Mary Shelley is worth worshiping! I know I've already mentioned this but for different reasons and I can't be bothered right now to put this up there. The Old Kingdom Series by Garth Nix - They are so cool it's almost difficult to get my head around, READ THEM!! (I so need to update this section but I can't be bothered right now) Music I like Anything by: Green Day - They are just great, and I love their music, even though most of it is about doing drugs and wasting time they still make pretty good songs every once in a while which have nothing to do with that stuff and are great if you are in a shitty mood. Linkin Park - Numb blows me away every time I hear it. But, Minutes to Midnight could have been better I reckon. Evanescence - Amy Lee can really sing and the lyrics can be heard clearly, that is a mile stone in itself compared to some other artists. Marilyn Manson - I'm not a goth but I can still like them, and for people who don't know, 'Marilyn Manson' is the name of the band as well as the name the lead singer goes by, all of the band members changed their names so that their first name was that of a female singer and their last name was that of a serial killer or mass murderer, cool. Oh, and I've infected at least two of my friends with an appreciation for his music, LONG LIVE THE ANTICHRIST SUPERSTAR! Lostprophets - THEY ROCK!! I've seen them live, they are so cool, I can't say enough cool stuff about them And generally rock or metal. If anybody can think of anything I may be interested in hearing, please don't be scared t PM me, I won't bite... well, maybe just a nibble if I'm starving, but I really am normally quite well mannered, so don't be too scared, really, it's perfectly safe to talk to me. Honestly. Films I like According to my last film count, I have about 650 films so far, too many to list here, so here's a very small selection of my favourites. Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street - The opening sequence literally took my breath away, the rest of it only got better! I ORDER ANY AND ALL OF YOU TO GO OUT AND GET THAT FILM AS SOON AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE! The Lion King - People only say bad things about it when they are trying to look tough in front of their friends, they are too old to consider it a film, or they haven't seen it. The Crow - A cult classic released in 1993/4, and yes there is a fandom for it here. The Terminator and T2: Judgment Day (not the third) - It's about time-traveling cybernetic organisms do they really need further explanation. V For Vendetta - It has some of the coolest fight scenes and the way that its based on the whole Guy Fawkes thing is so cool, I also love comic book films as well- if its well made that is. Underworld 1 and 2 - Come on, Vampires and werewolves at war with one another and a hybrid/vampire couple in the middle of it, what's not to love? One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest - I know it's old and very depressing but I liked it. Back To The Future Trilogy - ABSOLUTELY BLOODY BRILLIANT Blade 1 and 2 - I haven't seen the third so I don't know if I like it or not but the other two are great. Fight Club - I had never seen anything like it and was hooked at the first frame. Pirates of the Carribean 1 + 2 - They need absolutely no explanation, they are just so cool and funny. Pitch Black / Chronicles of Riddick - Excellent characters and special effects and a killer story to go with it, need I say more. Jurassic Park - Truly ground-breaking. Indiana Jones Trilogy - So cool. Lethal Weapon 1-4 - Hilarious. Silence of the Lambs - So unnerving at times, this was one of very few films which could actually scare me, and that is saying something, considering that I saw The Exorcist at th age of 9. Constantine - Really cool. And anything directed by Steven Spielberg, Quentin Tarantino or Tim Burton. I will put more here as I think of them.
