So, I suppose it would be prudent to say something about myself. (insert deep breath here) Here goes...

Feel free to call me Ixnay, or Nadia if you feel it's too pretentious (I also go by Dove Falconhand and SleepwalkerElf in various places). I'm a six-year-old trapped in a twenty-four-year-old body (if you know a wizard that could help me with this little predicament, I'd be grateful). I've been in a happy relationship for five years now, so I don't respond to marriage proposals. ;) I'm currently struggling to make a M.A. in philosophy without getting mental disorder and depression in the process, with mixed results.

I love cRPGs (I'm a serious case of KOTOR and NWN geekery), fantasy literature (or ANY good literature for that matter) and writing. I have a particular fondness for the Star Wars and Forgotten Realms fandoms. I hope to write my own FR novel one day, but here's for me hoping, considering incurable laziness is one of my more widely known feats. English is actually not my first language but I feel more comfortable with it as far as writing fanfiction is concerned. I don't write a lot of original stuff, but when I do, it's usually in my native tongue.

Honestly, I'm rarely happy with my writing and I'm constantly trying to improve. I adore receiving reviews, however, constructive criticism and blind praise alike. If there's anything you like, don't like or even outright hate about the silly things I write, by all means, do tell me! In a civilised way, of course. ;)

NWN:

Of Cats and Wolves was originally supposed to be a series of loosely connected, slightly humorous one-shots focused around my PC and Bishop's relationship, but the idea soon evolved into a full-fledged multi-chaptered fic. I sincerely hope it will be more than just another retelling of the game events, as I try to focus on the moments we don't see in the game. It's up to you to decide whether I'm doing a good job or not. I'm enjoying writing it too much to stop now. ;) Sometimes I borrow some dialogue from the OC where it's necessary. Expect slow updates. I'm currently wrapped up in the so called real life and I may not be able to update more often than once in a few weeks. I try to make it worthwhile, though...

Before the Dawn is a short emotional ficlet that helped me get through a particularly depressing event. I do so adore when a story writes itself, even if it costs me some tears. Again, Bishop's the victim.

KOTOR:

Just Another Test is one of my personal favourites. It was inspired by a discussion on the KOTORFanMedia forums, on the subject of what Atton's reasons for staying by the Exile's side may have been. My ficlet is a pretty dark vision of Atton's future with an evil protagonist. I don't usually explore the Dark Side storyline, but this idea was just too compelling not to write it down.

Dxun Fever is a fluffly little one-shot between Atton and my Light/Grey-sided Exile. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out, which is rare. ;) I like this couple a lot, and I keep getting ideas to put them into something more epic. Maybe one day…
