SANCTUAIRE - WITHIN THE CASTLE WALLS

Monarchy of Two - Two Monarchy Factions were founded centuries ago after several of the kingdoms who were granted crystals grew corrupt from their show of wealth and power. Those of the Alliance holds true to their oath to the Goddess Etro and protect their nations and the people they rule over. Their crystals are kept safe and hidden well within their castle walls, never to be disturbed, for as long as the crystal shines within that kingdom, the monarchs remain safe and able to fend off the forces of the dark kingdoms.
There are also several nations who remain neutral from either factions, however they may or may not decide to give their loyalty to either the Alliance or Cruor Mucro, making it essential to form friendships with neutral nations.

The ALLIANCE: The Alliance is an age-old organization founded by the monarchs who vow to serve their kingdoms and their people. Chosen by Etro to rule and empowered by the crystals bestowed upon them, those of the Alliance are known to be courageous, compassionate, noble, and humble. The Alliance has formed bonds to the extent that they would take the fall for one another in battle. Opposing their enemy, the Cruor Mucro, the Alliance work to hold peace, law, and justice within their kingdoms while defending it from the dark kingdom's endless wave of dark soldiers.

CRUOR MUCRO: Blood Sword is the meaning of their name. Cruor Mucro was created by kingdoms who grew corrupted and lusted for power after they saw the sheer strength of the crystals. Their goals are to overthrow the Alliance, take their crystal and conquer the kingdoms of the Alliance in order to turn their own countries into a single large nation for each. The Cruor Mucro are sometimes known as the dark kingdoms; ruled by tyrannical power-hungry monarchs who have no hesitation in destroying all in their path should anyone or anything interfere with them.

Neutral Nations: These kingdoms neither swear nor ally themselves to either of the two differing monarchy factions. However, they may be of use which is why it may be essential to form a bond of friendship with any neutral kingdom for they may or may not swear some loyalty to either side. Betrayal may sometimes come into play as well.

Story: Lightning is the first daughter of the late King Adonis and Queen Evana of Bodhum. At a young age Lightning had displayed desire to learn anything she becomes curious about and has an exceptional mind of learning. At age three, after the birth of her younger sister Serah, Lightning first meets Prince Noctis who was six years old at the time. Though the prince was brought to Bodhum by his father King Giovanni to befriend her, he was more concerned with playing with his three friends, a decision that would affect his and Lightning's neglected alliance and friendship.
At the age of fourteen, Lightning's parents lost their lives and as a result their eldest daughter was forced to take the throne by the time she becomes fifteen years old. Once Lightning was crowned queen at fifteen, she became known as the youngest monarch of the generation.
